I'd be careful with stocks, these people do that shit everyday and many a day traders have lost everything by way of greed. They lure people into confidence, then an insider tip for a sure thing after creating jealously from previous trades to develop trust. They will know when you put a little too much in and pull the plug. You not dealing with men with a conscious, your dealing with murders.
If we judge by what we currently see it is opposed to what we have been told.

True, also languages make a big difference. Interpreted code like ruby although easy to program in could be 10 to 20 times slower than a compiled language like Java or C#.
