The Same Clandestine Companies Involved in the Certification of Dominion Voting Systems and the 2020 Results in Georgia Were Chosen for the Upcoming Arizona ‘Audit’

What we found is very strange. What is going on?

Arizona’s Maricopa County Board of Supervisors finally agreed to an election audit this week of its 2020 results. The county officials approved only two companies to perform their ballot audit, both which certified Dominion voting systems.

Maricopa officials refused to offer data expert Jovan Pulitzer the job which indicates the Board of Supervisors is doing all it can to hide the truth from its constituents.

As reported earlier on Wednesday Arizona’s Maricopa County Board of Supervisors finally agreed to have a forensic audit performed in their county. The Arizona Mirror reported:

Maricopa County will contract with two companies, Pro V&V and SLI Compliance, to conduct the audit. Those are the only two auditors certified by the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, according to county spokesman Fields Moseley. A proposed settlement agreement between the Senate and the county would require the Senate to use an EAC-approved auditor.

The Board of Supervisors, whom many believe are covering up election corruption due to their actions since the 2020 election, decided to pass on expert Jovan Pulitzer, who has a thorough and independent method to review the ballots and results. Instead the Maricopa Board, after suing the Arizona Senate for ordering an audit be performed, eventually agreed to an audit but only if they could choose the auditors. The county officials then limited their choices to Pro V&V and SLI Compliance.

On Wednesday we took a look at these two organizations – Pro V&V and SLI Compliance.

Pro V&V was also selected by Georgia’s corrupt Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger for a recent sham audit there.

Secretary of State Raffensperger used Dominion-linked Pro V&V, an Alabama-based testing laboratory, to do the Georgia audit of the Dominion machines. The company announced it “found no evidence of the machines being tampered.” This should tell you something:

The technology company that last month performed an audit of Dominion Voting Systems machines in Georgia has for several years overseen testing of Dominion’s voting software, federal records indicate.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger announced in mid-November that the results of a forensic analysis of Dominion voting machines in the state — ordered in the wake of controversies involving the nationwide election equipment vendor — revealed “no evidence of the machines being tampered.”

To perform the audit, the state contracted Pro V&V, which Raffensperger identified as “a U.S. Election Assistance Commission certified testing laboratory.” (The Election Assistance Commission is an independent agency of the U.S. government created under the 2002 Help America Vote Act. Among its functions is the certification of election equipment and accreditation of election system testing labs.)

But it’s much more than that. We know for example that Pro V&V has only three company contacts and has been in business since 2011. The President of Pro V&B is Jack Cobb. Cobb has been called in to perform audits for Dominion in the past. He performed one audit in the Philippines in 2019, but he referred to himself as the ‘Laboratory Director’ during this engagement, for some reason, rather than the President of the company:

China Tells Taiwan "Independence Means War" As Rival Wargames Ongoing

Days ago amid soaring tensions over Taiwan a US carrier group entered the South China Sea. China's response was to fly a dozen aircraft in Taiwan's airspace while further announcing military drills in the Gulf of Tonkin.

And now China is warning Taiwan that "independence means war" in Thursday remarks out of the Defense Ministry. During a monthly press briefing Chinese Defense Ministry spokesman Wu Qian was asked about regional tensions, and he responded by saying that "military activities" in the Taiwan Strait "are necessary actions to address the current security situation"

He then warned in a repeat of past foreign ministry and PLA leadership statements: "Those who play with fire will burn themselves, and 'Taiwan independence' means war."

On Monday Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian slammed the nearby US military movements, saying "It does no good to regional peace and stability for the United States to frequently send military vessels and aircraft to the South China Sea to show off muscles."

He announced the Gulf of Tonkin drills would run from Wednesday through Saturday, but there's little details known in terms of size of the exercise, which is a clear signal to the US naval vessels in the region. Specifically the USS Theodore Roosevelt is now patrolling the South China Sea in an operation dubbed "freedom of operation" movements.

Earlier this week Reuters observers painted a picture of each side flexing its muscles in a dangerous build-up which itself could trigger inadvertent war, given the number of aerial and naval assets potentially crisscrossing:

Hospital Apologizes For Inviting 'VIP List' Of Big Donors To Get Vaccine First

Last month we noted that given Pfizer's vaccine remains in short supply and stringent temperature requirements for shipment and storage have limited vaccinations only to frontline hospital workers and long term elderly patients - there's a growing movement among wealthy Americans offering five-figure donations to hospitals to cut in line and receive an early dose of the vaccine.

There's a phenomenon in several states particularly on the West coast of the wealthy calling their doctors, offering tens of thousands of dollars in donations for the chance to receive the COVID-19 vaccine early. This week one hospital in Washington state essentially admitted to facilitating just such an arrangement after it was caught red-handed sending an email that listed 100 donors as among those who'll be first in line to receive the jab, as CNN reports:

A hospital in Bellevue, Washington, has apologized for emailing about 100 benefactors an invitation to sign up for the Covid-19 vaccination.

"We're pleased to share that we have 500 new open appointments in the Overlake COVID-19 vaccine clinic," said an email from an Overlake Medical Center, which also provided a special access code to register.

Ecuador police raid ‘alternative medicines’ clinic that injected 70,000 doses of FAKE Covid-19 vaccine

An unlicensed clinic in the Ecuador’s capital Quito offered clients what it falsely claimed to be a $15-per-dose vaccine against Covid-19. The place was raided and shut down by authorities this week.

The clandestine clinic, which was raided by Quito police and other relevant agencies on Tuesday, was officially listed as a “spa and slimming massage salon,” but instead offered unlicensed medical services, the city security chief Cesar Diaz told the media.

With the Covid-19 outbreak ravaging the country, the establishment, which was located in the south of the city, added a “vaccine” against the disease to its list of treatments and sold an estimated 70,000 doses before getting busted.

What exactly the gullible recipients were injected with is yet to be determined by lab tests. The fake vaccine was offered at $15 per dose, with a course of three doses supposedly giving full immunity. Two chaser injections of a purported ‘cleansing’ drug and a ‘multivitamin’ were given after the main ‘treatment’ for an additional $100. The woman running the clinic claimed to be a specialist in alternative medicine, but had no formal medical degree.

Scott Atlas: Will The Truth On COVID Restrictions Really Prevail?

The consequences of the SARS2 coronavirus pandemic and its management have been enormous. Over 400,000 American deaths have been attributed to the virus; more will certainly follow. Even after almost a year, the pandemic still paralyzes our country. Despite all efforts, there has been an undeniable failure to stop cases from rapidly escalating and preventing hospitalizations and death.

Here’s the reality – almost all states and major cities, with a handful of exceptions, have implemented severe restrictions for many months, including closures of businesses and in-person school, mobility restrictions and curfews, quarantines, limits on group gatherings, and mask mandates dating back to at least the summer. These measures did not significantly change the typical pattern or damage from the SARS2 virus. President Biden openly admitted as much in his speech to the nation on Jan. 22, when he said “there is nothing we can do to change the trajectory of the pandemic in the next several months.” Instead of rethinking the results of implemented policies, many want to blame those who opposed lockdowns and mandates for the failure of the very lockdowns and mandates that were widely implemented.

Ironically, all new policies will coincide with a decrease in cases, because that decrease is already evident across the United States. Hospitalizations in every age group, by CDC data, as well as deaths, have begun to decline. Confirming that trend is the marked drop in symptomatic COVID-19 patients coming to emergency rooms, down 40% from its peak almost a month ago to become lower than that seen before Thanksgiving. Despite that reality, is there any doubt how most of the American media will portray this in their analysis of the administration’s “First 100 Days”?

And let’s be clear about behavior – social mobility tracking of Americans and data from Gallup, YouGov, the COVID-19 Consortium, and the CDC have shown significant reductions of movement as well as a consistently high percentage of mask wearing since the late summer similar to Western European countries and approaching that in Asia.

Unsealed court documents say Epstein madam Maxwell orchestrated underage ORGY for her and financier to watch

Newly unsealed court documents from numerous court cases detail just some of the sexual misdeeds allegedly carried out by Jeffrey Epstein and his former madam Ghislaine Maxwell with groups of underage girls.

Some 112 court documents, amounting to thousands of pages of evidence, were unsealed and released on Wednesday night, including testimony accusing Maxwell of preying on victims and forcing them to perform sexual acts for her and Epstein’s amusement.

In one of the records, Maxwell was accused of stealing a 15-year-old “slave’s” passport, after she refused to have sex with Epstein. The British socialite also reportedly “used sex toy in threesome with accuser.”

Maxwell, 59, was also accused by Epstein’s housekeeper of being present at the mansion where at least 100 girls arrived and performed sexual massages on the convicted pedophile over a period of 10 years.

The documents say Epstein also “watched Maxwell direct a room full of underage girls to kiss, dance, and touch one another in a sexual way for [her] and Epstein to watch.”

A note referring to an underage girl visiting Epstein’s house for ‘training’ was found in a dustbin by federal agents.

Lawyers for Epstein’s most high profile victim Virginia Giuffre highlighted the damning nature of the evidence revealed in the unsealed documents.

“Now, there is actual, live testimonial evidence that [Maxwell] was a procurer of young girls for sex with Jeffrey Epstein, with whom she shared a home and a life, thus validating Ms. Giuffre’s claims,” Giuffre’s lawyers said, citing flight logs showing that Maxwell and Giuffre traveled together at least 20 times while the victim was a minor as yet more incriminating evidence.

Britain’s Prince Andrew is referenced by name in evidence given by Anthony Figueroa, Giuffre’s ex-boyfriend, who claims she was ordered to service the UK royal sexually on three separate occasions at Maxwell and Epstein’s instruction.

Maxwell claimed in a July 2016 deposition she learned of Epstein abuse claims, “like everybody else, like the rest of the world, when it was announced in the papers.”

Testimony concerning Maxwell’s sexual relations with adults remained sealed as ordered by US District Judge Loretta A Preska.

Maxwell was arrested in July 2020 for procuring and trafficking girls as young as 14 for Epstein and his friends to abuse. She has remained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since.

She has pleaded not guilty to sex-trafficking charges alleging she recruited girls for Epstein to abuse in the mid-1990s.

Facebook Hires Biden Transition, Obama Admin Official As VP Of 'Civil Rights'

Facebook has hired Roy Austin, former Obama administration official and a member of President Joe Biden’s transition team, as the social media company’s vice president of Civil Rights and deputy general counsel.

Austin used to serve as civil rights prosecutor and supervisor in the Department of Justice (DOJ) before becoming a deputy assistant to President Barack Obama for the Office of Urban Affairs, Justice and Opportunity in 2014. In 2017, he went into private practice as a criminal defense and civil rights attorney at Harris, Wiltshire & Grannis. In November, Biden named him as one of the volunteers on the Agency Review Team for the DOJ in his transition.

It’s not clear what will be Austin’s specific responsibilities at Facebook. The company didn’t respond to a request for further details and an attempt to reach Austin for comment was unsuccessful.

“I am delighted to welcome Roy to Facebook as our VP of Civil Rights. Roy has proved throughout his career that he is a passionate and principled advocate for civil rights—whether it is in the courtroom or the White House,” said Facebook General Counsel Jennifer Newstead in a Jan. 11 release.

“I know he will bring the same wisdom, integrity, and dedication to Facebook. It’s hard to imagine anyone better qualified to help us strengthen and advance civil rights on our platform and in our company.”

Austin’s appointment underscores the closeness of Facebook to the Biden administration.

Former Facebook associate general counsel Jessica Hertz was the Biden transition’s general counsel and is his new White House staff secretary. Jeffrey Zients—Biden’s coronavirus czar—used to serve on Facebook’s board of directors in 2018-2020. Austin Lin, a former program manager at Facebook, was on one of Biden’s agency review teams before reportedly being tapped for a deputy role at White House’s Office of Management and Administration. Erskine Bowles, a former Facebook board member, reportedly advised the transition team.

Trading app Robinhood SHUTS DOWN GameStop stock, after Reddit traders embarrass Wall Street

Trading app Robinhood has banned its users from buying GameStop, AMC, Blackberry and Nokia stock, after its users inflated the value of GameStop stock and inflicted billions of dollars of losses on Wall Street fat cats.

Traders logging on to Robinhood on Thursday were informed that they were no longer able to purchase stock in $GME, $AMC, $BB and $NOK (GameStop, AMC Theaters, Blackberry and Nokia). These are the four companies whose share prices were massively inflated in recent weeks by crowds of amateur investors purchasing their stocks.

$GME was trading at $316 before the halt, and then dropped to below $300. However, it recouped all of its losses once the markets opened, even as the NASDAQ temporarily paused trading.

Some users reported that they were only allowed to close out their positions, but with nobody to buy, these users stood to lose massive profits.

The shutdown came after these traders inflicted punishing losses on some of Wall Street’s biggest hedge funds, while getting filthy rich themselves in the process. Investing firm Citron Research declared GameStop, the video games retailer hammered in recent years by the move to digital downloads, a stock in “terminal decline,” prompting other investors to take short positions on the stock. Put simply, the firms borrowed shares in GameStop, anticipating a continued drop in its market value, hoping to buy these shares back at a lower price then return their original borrowed shares to lenders and pocket the profit.

The influx of amateur investors drove GameStop’s value up by more than 700 percent in January, forcing these funds to buy the shares at far more than they borrowed them at. Short sellers lost $14.3 billion on Wednesday alone, according to data firm S3 Partners, with one fund, Melvin Capital, requiring nearly $3 billion in bailout money from friendly firms to avoid bankruptcy.

Wall Street insiders accused the amateur investors, most of whom congregated on Reddit’s ‘WallStreetBets’ subreddit, of market “manipulation,” with some of the most powerful voices in the financial establishment demanding they be investigated and punished. However, these establishment fat cats have in turn been accused of engaging into market manipulation themselves when they paused GameStop, Nokia, and AMC trading at multiple points throughout Wednesday. Similar accusations were leveled at Discord, which banned ‘WallStreetBets’ groups from its platform later that evening citing allegations of “hate speech.”

NY attorney general reveals Cuomo administration undercounted COVID-19 nursing home deaths by 50%

New York state Democratic Attorney General Letitia James accused the Cuomo administration of severely undercounting the number of coronavirus-related deaths at nursing homes in the state by as much as 50% in a scathing new report released Thursday.

In the report, James determined much of the misrepresentation was due to the state counting only deaths that occurred at the actual nursing home facilities rather than including deaths that occurred at a hospital after a resident was transferred there to receive more medical care.

During the investigation, which surveyed 62 nursing homes across the state, James' office reportedly found "consistent discrepancies between deaths reported to the attorney general's investigators and those officially released by the Health Department," the New York Times noted in its coverage of the matter.

The newspaper pointed to a specific instance in which an unnamed facility reported 11 confirmed and presumed deaths to the Health Department only for the attorney general's office to later find that 40 deaths had taken place, including 27 at the home and 13 in hospitals.

"Preliminary data obtained by [the Office of Attorney General] suggests that many nursing home residents died from Covid-19 in hospitals after being transferred from their nursing homes, which is not reflected in [Department of Health's] published total nursing home death data," investigators said in the report.

The report also determined that a number of nursing homes "failed to comply with critical infection control policies," such as not isolating residents who had tested positive or preemptively screening employees for infections.

"In conclusion, this preliminary data for the 62 facilities and time periods noted above suggests that COVID-19 resident deaths associated with nursing homes in New York state appear to be undercounted by DOH by approximately 50 percent," the report stated.

Why does it matter?

The news is sure to intensify scrutiny around Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo's handling of the pandemic, especially since the governor has been accused specifically of mismanaging the health crisis at nursing home facilities and directly causing thousands of preventable deaths among the state's vulnerable elderly population.

Last March, during the initial stages of the outbreak, Cuomo issued a directive forcing nursing home facilities to accept patients who had tested positive for the virus and been discharged from the hospital. As death tolls rose in such facilities, the deadly policy became the subject of harsh criticism, yet the Cuomo administration attempted to hide that it ever existed and waited until May to officially rescind it.

In the aftermath, Cuomo has repeatedly dodged responsibility for endangering elderly New Yorkers, instead attempting to shift blame to then-President Donald Trump and Republicans.

GameStop Short Sell Firm Citadel Paid Biden’s Treasury Secretary $MILLIONS.

Joe Biden’s Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen has made over $7 million from speaking at Wall Street firms including Citadel – which has invested billions of dollars in the primary hedge fund now suffering as a result of the GameStop stock surge.

Yellen’s financial disclosures reveal over 60 speeches to financial firms, and items 25, 29, and 49 on the list shows her receiving a sum of $810,000 from Citadel in speaking fees.

Following a Reddit-induced skyrocket in the price of GameStop, a company heavily shorted by Melvin Capital Management, trading platforms including RobinHood have started to ban trading of the security. The move will likely lower the price of the stock and, perhaps, help rectify Melvin Capital’s immense losses.

The move has been widely viewed as protecting Wall Street hedge funds, whom Yellen has made millions speaking from, while “selling out” the little guy.

Citadel recently funneled billions into Melvin Capital Management according to The Wall Street Journal:

Citadel LLC and Point72 Asset Management are investing $2.75 billion in hedge fund Melvin Capital Management, an emergency influx of cash that is expected to stabilize what has been one of the top performing funds on Wall Street. […] Citadel and its partners are investing $2 billion and Point72, which already had more than $1 billion invested in Melvin as of 2019, is investing an additional $750 million, the funds said Monday. As part of the deal, Citadel, its partners and Point72 are receiving non-controlling revenue shares in the firm that eventually expire, a person familiar with the deal said.

Cop Arrested for Bribery Last Week, Arrested This Week For Child Porn Bestiality

San Antonio, TX — San Antonio Police Officer Erik Rodriguez is accused of being a particularly bad cop. Earlier this month, the 14-year veteran of the department was arrested on a misuse of official information charge. One week later, he was arrested again, this time for bribery. And, this week, this cop was arrested one more time — on charges of possession of child porn bestiality.

Rodriguez’s decent into crime apparently began earlier this month when this monster allegedly took money from a suspect accused of beating women, Jeremiah Gonzalez, and helped him obtain confidential information to help his case.

According to Express News, police said in that arrest, a detective investigating allegations of dating violence learned that the victim believed her abuser’s friend was providing him with information about the ongoing investigation.

The detective discovered that the suspected abuser received case information from Rodriguez, who was paid by the suspect, authorities said. It took just $100, according to prosecutors, for Rodriguez to sell out the citizens who pay his salary.

“Preventing family violence and providing services to victims has been and remains a priority for the San Antonio Police Department,” Police Chief William McManus said after the first arrest. “I am bitterly disappointed and frustrated that an SAPD Officer would violate his oath of office and the public trust by placing a survivor in jeopardy. The quick response of the SAPD Detective assigned to this case reinforces that there will be swift and serious consequences for any type of misconduct. The investigation of the officer and the abuser will continue, and additional charges may be filed.”

McManus had to issue yet another statement this week, decrying the officer’s actions once again. Announcing that he is suspending Rodriguez without pay, McManus said, “The allegations against Officer Rodriguez are serious and troubling and will continue to be addressed through criminal and administrative processes.”

According to prosecutors, after he was arrested for bribery and manipulating evidence, Rodriguez was found in possession of child sexual exploitation material. He was the charged for possession of this content which apparently depicted a child “engaging in sexual conduct, namely sexual bestiality.”

RobinHood Locks Out Reddit Traders in Brazen Attempt to Force Down GameStop Price

Robinhood, a trading platform favored by millennials, has locked out users from buying stocks including GameStop, Nokia, and AMC.

The news follows a Reddit community, WallStreetBets, causing the various stocks to skyrocket. Now, however, Robinhood’s move to ban users from purchasing shares in the three companies will likely drive the price down.

When platform users go to the profiles of stocks including GameStop, Nokia, and AMC, they are either met with a message that “this stock is not supported on Robinhood” or “you can close out your position in this stock, but you cannot purchase additional shares.”

As a result, Twitter users have begun calling to “boycott Robinhood.”

Gold market is not a real market, it’s a ‘paper market,’ investment manager tells Keiser Report

Max Keiser interviews Lawrence Lepard of Equity Management Associates about price discovery and the national debt of the United States, which is now more than the country’s GDP.

There is no price discovery in gold, says Lepard, adding that “it’s a paper market.”

“I’ve long contended that the gold market is not a real market. It’s essentially a planned tool,” he explains.

According to Lepard, bitcoin is “pointing out to hyperinflation rather blatantly,” and “there’s nothing they can do to control it.”

Donald Trump Jr. defended the populist investing movement rallying to buy stock in GameStop on Thursday accusing the system of being “rigged.”

Trump Jr. shared a post on Twitter from Barstool CEO Dave Portnoy who challenged the popular stock market trading app for blocking trading of GameStop stock as well as AMC, Blackberry, and Nokia.

“Somebody is going to have to explain to me in what world RobinhoodApp and others literally trying to force a crash by closing the open market is fair?” Portnoy asked. “They should all be in jail.”

Trump Jr. also marveled at the WallStreetBets Reddit group for acting like a major hedge fund.

Inslee on Biden Climate Moves Costing Jobs: ‘Do Not Want to Shackle’ Kids to ‘Dead Weight’ of Jobs That Won’t Exist in Future

On Wednesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Cuomo Primetime,” Washington Gov. Jay Inslee (D) praised President Joe Biden’s climate actions and addressed criticisms that they’ll hurt jobs by stating that fighting climate change helps create jobs and that “We do not want to shackle our children to the dead weight of jobs that aren’t going to exist 30 years from now.”

Host Chris Cuomo asked, “[H]ow do you finesse the aspect of the other party…on this, they’ve got a great angle. Every time you do something that’s green, you’re taking green out of their pockets. Keystone Pipeline, costing jobs. No more drilling, costing jobs. Jobs matter more to people than the environment when you look at polls. How do you bridge that gap?”

Inslee responded that fighting climate change doesn’t hurt jobs, and that the opposite is true.

He added, “Listen, the other side wants to shackle people to a past of an area of declining jobs. This is a reality. We do not want to shackle our children to the dead weight of jobs that aren’t going to exist 30 years from now. We want to give our kids the jobs that are growing, and this is — the number one job creation engine is clean energy. And I couldn’t be more tickled. Look, this is a hallelujah moment from my view. We have crossed the desert of denial and deception about climate change and we have a president who understands how to create jobs and he’s doing that big-time today.”

‘Climate Czar’ John Kerry Still Owns Private Jet

Climate Envoy John Kerry reportedly still owns a private jet through a family company, even as he prepares to impose new restrictions on Americans’ use of fossil fuels, according to a report by Fox News on Wednesday evening.

Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) records indicate that the family of U.S. Special Envoy for Climate John Kerry owns a private jet, despite his position on combatting fossil fuels in the new administration.

The FAA’s registry shows a Gulfstream Aerospace jet owned by Flying Squirrel LLC, the name previously reported for Teresa Heinz-Kerry’s private charter jet company. The company’s listed address matches that of the Heinz Family Foundation.

According to FAA records, the jet’s registration certificate was issued in July of 2005 and expires in October of 2023.

Fox noted that private jets are estimated to emit 40 times as much carbon per passenger as commercial jets.

Kerry, the climate “czar,” is no stranger to claims of hypocrisy. In 2010, then-Sen. Kerry (D-MA) was found to have docked his boat in Rhode Island, thereby avoiding paying some $500,000 in taxes in his home state of Massachusetts.

On Wednesday, Kerry was asked what message the administration had for workers in the oil and gas industry. He said that they would find “better choices” and other jobs, such as manufacturing solar panels.

He also admitted that even if the U.S. achieved “zero” emissions, it would not solve the problem of climate change because the vast majority of emissions come from other countries.

Davos Great Reset: French Prez Macron Declares Modern Capitalism ‘Can No Longer Work’

At the World Economic Forum’s (WEF) virtual Davos Agenda summit on Tuesday, French President Emmanuel Macron declared that in the wake of the Chinese coronavirus modern capitalism “can no longer work”.

Appearing before a question and answer session conducted with ‘Great Reset’ architect and founder-chairman of the WEF, Klaus Schwab, Mr Macron said that while capitalism has historically driven down poverty globally, he claimed that it came with the cost of furthering inequality.

“We will get out of this pandemic only with an economy that thinks more about fighting inequalities,” Macron said.

“The capitalist model together with this open economy can no longer work in this environment,” he added.

The French president pronounced that capitalism has resulted in a “deep moral and economic crisis” in which “hundreds and thousands of people throughout the world had this feeling of losing their usefulness.”

Macron said there were “two kings in this system—shareholders and consumers,” and that capitalism has failed to support labourers and has been detrimental to the environment.

Mr Marcon — who has been seen largely as an economically neo-liberal leader — went on to claim that the world needs to “move beyond” the hostility towards state intervention into the economy and that companies must be bound by the responsibilities of alleviating economic inequality and reducing their alleged impact on the climate.

He argued that for the “economy of tomorrow” to succeed, businesses must balance competitiveness with fighting supposedly man-made climate change and reducing Carbon Dioxide emissions.

Macron went on to express his gratitude for President Joe Biden’s decision to rejoin the Paris Climate Accords — which the United States left under the leadership of former President Trump — yet called for leaders to “revise upwards” their green agenda goals.

Merkel ‘Agrees’ with Xi Jinping at Davos on Increasing ‘Multilateralism’

German Chancellor Angela Merkel agreed with Chinese dictator Xi Jinping that the European Union should not try to take sides between China and the United States, in comments made during the World Economic Forum (WEF) Davos virtual summit.

The German leader — who has been champion of the proposed investment pact between the EU and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) — said on Tuesday that the world should embark upon increased “multilateralism” as opposed to taking a tougher stance on the regime in Beijing.

“I would very much wish to avoid the building of blocs,” Merkel said in comments reported by POLITICO, adding: “I don’t think it would do justice to many societies if we were to say this is the United States and over there is China and we are grouping around either the one or the other. This is not my understanding of how things ought to be.”

In her virtual address to the World Economic Forum, Merkel said in reference to the Davos address from Xi Jinping: “The Chinese president spoke yesterday, and he and I agree on that. We see a need for multilateralism.”

In his speech the day before, the Chinese dictator cautioned the Western World from entering into a “new Cold War” with China and to refrain from “arrogant isolationism”.

The globalist German leader did temper her support for the Chinese dictator slightly, however, saying: “But there is one question where we are not in immediate agreement. Probably the question of what it means when you have different social models. When does interference begin and where does it end? When do you stand up for elementary values that are indivisible?”

Merkel also said that she was “so satisfied” with the €120 billion EU-China investment pact, hailing so-called concessions from the CCP such as increased transparency on state subsidies in China as well as the EU gaining “more predictable access to… state-of-the-art technology” in China.

The European Commission has described the deal as the “most ambitious agreement that China has ever concluded with a third country”.

The deal, which still needs to be approved by member states and the European Parliament, has been widely criticised for its failure to mandate that the communist regime stop using slave labour.

Within the agreement, the Chinese state merely commits to “working towards” introducing international labour rights which would prohibit the use of slave labour.

The chairman and founder of the UK-based think tank Hong Kong Watch, Benedict Rogers, characterised the deal as “a real setback for the free world”, in comments to Breitbart London.

“Just at a time when people are finally waking up to the dangers of the CCP, after a year in which the whole world has suffered a global pandemic caused, at least in part, by the CCP’s mendacity and repression, and at a time when increasingly experts are accusing the CCP of committing genocide against the Uyghurs, now is not the time to be doing such deals, especially without any human rights safeguards in them,” Rogers added.

Brexit Leader Nigel Farage has also criticised the bloc for increasing ties with Beijing, saying: “Brussels greed is helping the regime to take over the world.”

EU Bureaucrats Try to Seize UK-Made Vaccines After Covid Failures

The European Union, which failed to secure early production of coronavirus vaccines, is demanding that UK-made AstraZeneca doses produced for Britons be sent to Europe instead.

Earlier this week, the European Commission threatened to halt the export of vaccines made in Europe produced under a UK contract, after both drugs companies Pfizer and AstraZeneca revealed a delay in delivery to the EU market due to production problems in Belgium.

While Eurocrats sought to blame AstraZeneca and alleged that it was favouring the UK as a customer, the company’s CEO revealed that the UK had a contract in place three months before the bloc, and implied Brussels bureaucracy was to blame for the lack of progress with successful vaccine production.

Now, in order to make up for the bloc’s shortfall, the EU is demanding that not only are exports of the drugs forbidden but that millions of vaccines made in the UK by the joint British AstraZeneca-Oxford venture — under the British government’s contract, meant for Britons — be sent to Europe, according to The Telegraph.

Speaking to media on Tuesday, AstraZeneca CEO Pascal Soriot also denied it was in breach of contact with the EU, as it could only offer a “best effort” to deliver to Europe because of Brussels’ delays.

European Commission Health Minister Stella Kyriakides alleges that is not true, going as far as claiming the crop from British vaccine laboratories are under EU dominion.

The Eurocrat said: “Not being able to ensure manufacturing capacity is against the letter and the spirit of our agreement. We reject the logic of ‘first come, first served’. That may work at the neighbourhood butchers, but not in contracts. And not in our advanced purchase agreements.”

Ms Kyriakides also claimed that there is “no hierarchy of the four production plants named in the advanced purchase agreement” with AstraZeneca, continuing that of the four factories listed, “it does not differentiate between the UK and Europe”.

She then made the extraordinary claim that the “UK factories are part of the advanced purchase agreements, and this is why they have to deliver”.

“We expected the doses that are in the advanced purchase agreement to be delivered to the European Union,” she added.
