This is not my post but I did clean it up a tad. Anyways, well fucking put so I share again:

The power of the GameStop trade. What a time to be alive! The citizen's of earth have spoken, by sheer numbers alone, to catch the money manipulators with their pants down. This one act, this defiance against the powers that rule all citizens, woke up the world's wealthiest few. But it is not all rosy, this loss will engage a waterfall of investigations, stricter rules that the citizens must abide by, and possible imprisonment for those doing what wall street brokers have enjoyed for decades. However, the key to this week's events is how the GameStop trade manifested itself. Whether online, at a coffee shop, or an exclusive yacht club, when a group, or in this case, the masses, collectively decide to do a thing, there is little to stop them. Similarly, the Capitol protest against the legality of certain state's actions during the 2020 presidential election, overwhelming numbers of citizens wanted to voice their discontent. Regardless of the position one takes, it should now be obvious to everyone that when a large number of people move in unison, it truly is a juggernaut, an unmovable force, like a stone. So with this knowledge, and newly witnessed revelations, what could we achieve? What would life be like if the masses truly had a say so in all affairs? Poverty and homelessness, could imagine that no one wants that for another, so eliminate this how soon? We send ships into space before taking care of earth's citizens? They'll say it can't be done, it'll cost too much, blah, blah, blah. But the truth is, the world just watched what the bargaining power of numbers demands. In this day of instant communication, free flowing knowledge, and capable and willing people, it seems that very soon in the not too distant future, a brave new world will emerge.
