Be well friend. We're all trying to hang in and hang on.
An idea: Keep trying small, random, new, outside-the-box things until you hit something that surprisingly works for you, or at least makes you smile.
Use an inversion table, write poetry that's so bad it's funny, offer a free life-coaching session to a stranger, make a small sculpture out of vitamin pills, trim all your body hair with hair clippers, identify the scientific names of every tree in your yard, translate a Shakespeare play into modern English, make a list of all the veg & fruit at your grocery store you've never tried, learn how to do a 'breath meditation', or whatever.
The key is to do anything you've never done before, even if it seems meaningless or ridiculous. It will rewire the brain a bit, plus take your focus off of worries and the news.
