Iran supports Syria, so if Obama really wanted to take out Assad, why would he give Iran 33 billion (or $330 B) before he left office? Would that not help Assad remain in power?

So, obviously, the money did not go to Iran for Iran. If money was delivered to Iran, someone else was there to pick it up and take it.
