I had a hard time understanding why 'they' are so hell bent on decreasing the population by 2030. I can understand why a few ultra rich think getting rid of the majority of people on the planet, but all the groups who think they are here to save humanity wanting most people gone is a stretch. Then I watch Doug Voigt with his theory of a cyclical nova of the sun and the idea that it is coming up in 2046. All of a sudden it started to make sense. The Greater Good people think that they can save 500M people if they bring the population down to that level by 2030 and they can stockpile food and resources for 16 years before they have to ride out 40 years of hell on earth. That is their other 16 year plan.
