Minimum wage, whether it's 7, 10, 12, 15 or 20 bucks an hour, will ALWAYS, be the working class poverty floor, ALWAYS. Within 12 to 18 months of the increase, these workers will have the same purchasing power they had before. So in reality, raising the min. wage ultimately does them no good in increasing their standard of living. The ones hurt are the middle class, who did not receive in increase in pay and watch their purchasing power slowly diminish. The proposed increase in min. wage to 15 an hour is an attack on the middle class. Eventually, our population will become like any other third world shit hole, the have's and the have nots.
