I think the problem is the majority making money off the movement have no real interest in the movement. Rather than just being honest with everyone that it's simply a business op, they deceive their followers.
Look at Youtube. In it's early days, everyone created and shared videos for enjoyment. After monetization arrived, the entire mindset for mostly the larger channels changed. When the rules were altered decreasing earnings, all these people started whining and begging for money constantly. They showed their real interest is making money not in making enjoyable videos.
A similar thing will happen when/if this movement declines. These money grabbers will go on to another business op conning others. They're not much different than the 7-figure paid MSM talking heads. Nothing wrong with making money just be honest about it.
