Let me interject another view. I am not arguing with what you wrote. It is what it is and it is RR's view to justify his antics. To me (and many Constitutional scholars) Trump is empowered to do what he will. They are his (executive branch) employees.
In layman's terms, what RR (and others) overlook can be boiled down pretty simply.
It is the Constitution's intent that we be governed by duly elected representatives. What we have now is UN-Elected persons telling the Elected reps. that they can not see what they are doing. This BS has gone one for over a year. The argument you site is complete BS.

Trump, if he is able, needs to reel this shit in before more people wake up to what has really transpired. These people are PATRIOTS of the truest nature and highest caliber. Their patience is running thin. We have to abide by the laws that our Elected Reps have passed. Now we have the people NOT elected who are supposed to enforce the laws, declare themselves above the law and doing whatever the fuck they want to. This is bullshit that is rammed down our throats on a daily basis and is getting harder and harder to stomach.
