Legendary Actress Cicely Tyson Dead at Age 96

Her memoir, “Just As I Am,” was published two days before her passing.

“With heavy heart, the family of Miss Cicely Tyson announces her peaceful transition this afternoon,” Larry Thompson said in a statement, according to The Associated Press.
