I'm of the opinion there are too many coincidences here regarding the Lockwood books. Anon sees only 3 possible explanations:

1. Planned events since the books were written, to orchestrate what we see today regarding people, places, locations, and events.

1. Time travel, someone went back and 'dropped' the books based on today's people, places, locations, and events.

1. Looking Glass, if Lockwood somehow had one in the 1800's. Could see future people, places, locations, and events, and wrote a book about it.

(4). OK one more, the books were written recently and put into the archive, as they did with the song in the movie Wag the Dog. Except there are copies of the book that are genuinely old, so I don't think so.
