ANY physical silver in your possession will remove it from the market. You don't have to buy 5000oz. You don't have to buy ASE with high premiums.

If you take it off of the market in some form (HODL) the market will have to find some way to replace it (or the price will rise).

Sure, being able to stand for delivery on a 5000oz contract would be much more effective, good luck getting them to actually deliver your physical.
