I made shotgun shot for a few years. Funny thing happened when the EPA showed up to try and prove we were the cause of high lead levels in the local water wells. We would drop our shot into a 10000 gallon tank of water. with another 10000 over flow tank below it. Literally filled with lead. Water had never been changed. Just cycled between tanks and topped off with a faucet hooked to the same water source we were accused of fucking up. EEEEEEpa tested the water in our tank and the water out of the faucet we filled from. Fucking tests came back 100% opposite of what thy thought. Almost 0 lead in the tank water despite it sitting on top of lead for 30 years and molten lead dropped into it daily for as long. Water out of the tap was fucked.
