I don't think they are as big a driving force as your post suggests.
I think a lot of it is shills exploit those type of fracture points the most (anons here call them 'division shills') so anybody who questions the mainstream faiths gets pegged a shillfairly or notpretty quickly.

Full disclosure; I'm a generic protestant Christian who believes Christ saved everyone; what is left is for God's grace to have them realize they are saved (but yeah he'll toss evil folks in the Lake of Fire among other ways of having people suffer and be accountable for their sins before they realize Christ saved them so don't at me Christian zealouts).

I'll admit before I engaged with you I didn't make the leap that it is DELIBERATE conditioning both here AND ON THE outside but now I know better.
