Well, Congress is out on recess ATM, for one. As you know, it takes forever and a day for one bit of legislation to pass both chambers and get to POTUS. 7000 pages of a bill. This is just to pay back all the people who said we'll back you with our support if you do x,y, and z immediately through EOs the first week in office. Otherwise, we're going with Bernie. Or something like that.

exactly, heh. the over-socialization is a real thing but following the pattern it is interesting how say 10 years ago it was all boomers on FB and the like and then Trump came in and Twitter was the place to be and now those two social platforms are pretty much dead, thank God, for the most part. Still, the stuck-behind-a-screen addiction to control behaviour was the real clue which many of us saw in the beginning but our screams were drowned out.
