Blaming Hitler for Israel is like blaming Trump for covid

I was thinking along the lines of "it's been in the works for a while" (considering Israel was created 20 years before Hitler assumed power)
You could say that Trump's role was to bring about initial covid restrictions couldn't you?
If you follow the logic that Hitler's role was to bring about Israel's full power, then you could say Trump's was to bring about covid. Why not? Why not just conflate everyone's actions to be someone else's plan?
