Probably not. Small players will throw money at the market, knowing they'll lose it, to hurt the medium sized players. Those medium sized players will have a bad day, but will survive. And the big players will clean up.
I find it truly amazing that the internet echo chamber has become so powerful that it can convince thousands and thousands of morons that they can hurt Wall Street by giving Wall Street their money. We live in interesting times.

You misread something somewhere. The total paper trades per day are much much much higher than the physical available. But that because the paper gets traded many many times. Silver bulls frequently misrepresent this factoid on Silver Doctors, ZH, etc.
And while those poorfags are organizing, the current players quietly position themselves to take full advantage of it.
