In the footage from a few miles away it is plain to see that the plane rolled upside down before nose in. For a plane to completely roll means there was uneven thrust and that some of all of the control surfaces were not responding in all likelihood. That may mean hydraulic and electrical failures all at once. Total power failure is not likely but that may be what it took to see that behavior at under 3,000 feet.
