In a previously professed, logistical impossible timeframe, you will get your bars. They might not be as pretty as a pamp, or immediately recognizable as a X mint. But they will be legit by paper trail. If they are stupid enough to give it to you in writing instead, that is leverage to start a dealer war, it will never happen.

Only use your beer money, and be discrete. All you are doing is retaining the value of your beer money to use in better times. If you manage to end up with some bonus value for a seemingly stable period, remember that it came at the cost of the destruction of value of the stupid and unprepared. It would not be unreasonable to be prepared to help feed them with that bonus value, if it came down to it.
