Can any of you astute Constitutional Law Fags weigh-in on this article?

One of the things that stands out to me is this statement:

"the current Democrat-held Congress (or even a Republican one) would never give the military the right to try Congress members!"

I have trouble believing our founders would have allowed this, but I'm not astute enough to discern whether the writer is on-point or full of shit. TYIA Anons!
