Castor just might end up being the perfect person to present POTUS' election fraud evidence.

Everybody hates Bruce Castor, and the acting AG couldn't care less

Even as the 54-year-old Castor shared this moment of parental pride, plans were being made to ensure his tenure as acting attorney general is a short one. On Thursday, Gov. Tom Wolf announced the nomination of Bruce Beemer, a longtime prosecutor who testified against Kane at her criminal trial, to replace Castor. Senate Republicans gave Beemer a ringing endorsement as they prepared to return to Harrisburg for a swift confirmation.

Nonetheless, Castor's decision not to prosecute accused rapist Bill Cosby in 2005 didn't help. A decade later, in the final weeks of the campaign, TV ads decrying his treatment of the case saturated the airwaves.

"I hope I never get anywhere near an election again," he said, in a recent interview. "If you want to get in a position where you can help a lot of people, you have to go through this monstrosity called the electoral process to get there."

In 2007, when Castor won election to the three-member county Board of Commissioners, the other Republican forged an alliance with the Democrat. Despite the fact that Castor had garnered the most votes, he was effectively shut out of power.

Ever the showman, Castor hung his certificate of public office in his bathroom, next to his toilet, as a potent symbol of his discontent.

"He doesn't care a rat's kazoo because he was predestined to be pope or god," said one GOP politico from the region. "He's Presbyterian, so maybe not pope."

Castor pointed out that the Republican who worked against him ultimately faced charges for lying to a grand jury. His record was expunged after probation.

"Castor's arrogant and obstinate," another GOP official said. "It probably made him a good prosecutor, but it also made him hell on wheels."
