I want all of Congress removed. We don’t need Representatives and Senators anymore, other than to develop legislation that We the People want. When new legislation comes up, I want every single American to cast their vote for or against it. Abstain if you want, I don’t care. I want all of the votes to roll up into one single vote, almost like a virtual Congressman. So for example, if Rand Paul is voting, he isn’t actually casting his vote - the people of his constituency have voted, and vote is cast for the legislation according to however that vote rolled up. I want text messages that remind me to vote for the legislation that’s on the floor that day. If enough people don’t vote on the legislation, it’s scrapped - gotta start over and make it more aligned with the constituency.

 

I’m sick and tired of my future, my children’s future, my country’s future riding on these gatekeepers and their decision making processes. Most are morally corrupt. Why are they to be trusted, at all? Remove the middle man, remove the gatekeepers. They are inept, they are corrupt, they are NOT for us.

SOMETHING like that. The tech is there, we could even give each ACTUAL citizen a unique ID to remove threat of voter fraud. I don’t want these old fucks in Congress, not even the flashy young ones who sound like they’re for us - I do not want them representing me, representing us. Power to the people, 100%, is possible. But (they) lose the grip, then. Too many variables at that point for them to round up.

 

Americans need to take part in their country. I think many would if it was made conveniently available. 100% truth transparency would be required in order to make informed decisions - removes these secret societies and such. I fucking guarantee the hive mind of America could defeat any threat thrown its way.
