Ted Cruz: President Trump was “Both Reckless and Irresponsible” and Did Not Prove Election Fraud in Any Court

Senator Cruz is an example of a Republican who will never win a national election and especially moving forward after the 2020 election. Democrats BRAZENLY used EVERY TRICK in their bag to steal victory in November 2020. And they did it without a hint of shame.

In this week’s video, Senator Ted Cruz accused President Donald Trump of spouting “overheated rhetoric” about the election and failing to present evidence of voter fraud.

Starting at the 16:52 mark of the January 25th, 2021 episode of Verdict with Ted Cruz, Senator Ted Cruz states the following:

Senator Ted Cruz: “President Trump’s rhetoric, I think, went way too far over the line. I think it was both reckless and irresponsible because he said repeatedly—and he said over and over again—he won by a landslide; there was massive fraud; it was all stolen everywhere. That evidence, the campaign did not prove that in any court, and to make a determination about an election it has to be based on the evidence, and so simply saying the result you want, that’s not responsible and you’ve never heard me use language like that. What I’ve said is voter fraud is real, and we need to examine the evidence, and look at the actual facts; and in particular, what is the evidence of how much voter fraud occurred, and did it occur in sufficient quantities and in sufficient states to alter the outcome of the election. That would have been the mandate of the election commission; to assess.”

And later around the 25-minute mark, he refers to the events of January 6th, 2021 as “a terrorist attack on the United States Capital.”

Republicans better wake up! They either act now or the GOP will be the minority party in the United States moving forward.

It's Never Too Early: Beto O'Rourke Hints at Run For Texas Governor

The man who said, “Hell yes! We’re going to take your” guns is now making an apparent bid for the Texas governorship. Beto O’Rourke, the former congressman and twice-failed candidate —for the Senate and the presidency — laid into GOP Governor Gregg Abbott for his shortcomings after telling on El Paso radio station KLAQ that he would “think about” a run.

That’s all it took to get Texas liberals’ hearts a-fluttering as the former folk singer readies another try for high office. For Abbott’s part, he indicated what his main line of attack will be.

Texas Tribune:

“You’re talking about a person who says they want to run for governor who said, ‘Heck yes,’ he’s gonna come and take your guns,” Abbott said Thursday at a news conference in Odessa. “Heck yes, he’s for open borders. Heck yes, he’s for killing the energy sector and fossil fuels in the state of Texas. I don’t think that’s gonna sell real well.”

O’Rourke took that “sell real well” comment and ran with it.

Well, at least he spelled Abbott’s name right.

O’Rourke has made a career out of reminding liberal journalists and voters of John F. Kennedy. He’s been the “next JFK” since he got into politics. One JFK was bad enough. Having a folksy version of Kennedy is a disaster waiting to happen.

O’Rourke’s campaign for president was punctuated by the El Paso massacre. The shooter’s manifesto had expressed anti-immigrant sentiment. So naturally, O’Rourke found it easy to blame Donald Trump for the shooting.

After the El Paso attack, O’Rourke blamed Trump and his rhetoric for fueling the gunman, who left behind an anti-immigrant manifesto. O’Rourke pressed that argument at the debate, saying there is a “white supremacist in the White House, and he poses a mortal threat to people of color across the country.”

O’Rourke faces long odds if he decides to run. Republicans have numerous statewide advantages and O’Rourke’s schtick doesn’t play well in many rural areas of the state. Every time Abbott mentions his gun-grabbing comment, he will lose votes.

It will also be the first election held under political maps cut to fit the 2020 census numbers. The Texas Legislature will draw those maps this year, as soon as it gets those census results, and it’s reasonable to expect that the Republican majorities in the House and Senate will join with the Republican governor to draw maps that favor GOP candidates.

Those maps will then promptly be challenged in court and redrawn by some liberal judge who skews the vote toward Democrats. It’s the same story that happened a decade ago.

O’Rourke has high name recognition and high approval among Democrats so if he runs, he’s a probable primary winner. But Abbott is one of the most successful politicians in Texas history — Republican or Democrat. He’s been winning statewide offices for 25 years, serving on the Texas Supreme Court, as attorney general, and then elected twice as governor. He won the last Republican primary with 90 percent of the vote. O’Rourke won’t be as lucky.

Beto is easily one of the most hated of Democrats because he’s all style and no substance. His rancid policies and divisive rhetoric don’t win him any friends on the Right, either. It will be an interesting race for governor, but probably not very close.

Myanmar's state TV goes off air over 'communication problems', phone & Internet services limited amid apparent coup

Myanmar’s residents have reported issues with internet and phone lines, and a state-run TV channel was forced to cut off broadcast over transmission problems amid reports of de-facto Myanmar’s leader Aung San Suu Kyi’s arrest.

State-run Myanmar Radio and Television (MRTV) reported early Monday morning local time that it could not stick to its regular programming schedule due to ongoing and unspecified “communication difficulties.”

This came shortly after spokesman for Suu Kyi’s National League for Democracy party announced that she and a number of other senior civilian officials had been apparently detained by the military.

"With the situation we see happening now, we have to assume that the military is staging a coup." NLD spokesman Myo Nyunt said, as cited by AFP.

There have been unconfirmed reports in the media that the military took over the channel.

Our correspondent in Yangon says that the military has just seized the government-owned national broadcaster MRTV. Phone data has also been cut off with only wifi working now. We will keep updating you as long as he can send messages to us. #Myanmar#standwithmyanmarpic.twitter.com/XsoQM2eqBV

— Thai Enquirer (@ThaiEnquirer) February 1, 2021

Multiple reports on social media suggested that phone networks have suffered wide-ranging outages.

I'm told that phone lines in Yangon do not work now – phone calls to one another cannot be madeWhatsApp and Viber can still be usedInfo as at 9.20am Singapore / HK time, which is 1.5hrs ahead of Myanmar

I'm getting reports from inside #Myanmar#Yangon that phone networks are completely down & people are afraid to go outside. Only those with Wi-Fi connection can still communicate. I've also been told (unable to confirm independently) that #military has surrounded #MRTV state TV pic.twitter.com/0JlKFMI1G9

I am in Yangon and military have taken control over the organs of state this morning. Please retweet as much as you can as we are being cut off from all the means of communications to connect outside world.

The Myanmar Times reporter John Liu tweeted that mobile internet and phone lines appeared to have been disrupted.

“Now mobile internet and phone lines are cut, only home wifi and military-operated phone line working. Having a hard time reaching my colleagues in Yangon,” he tweeted.

NetBlocks, a non-government organization which tracks Internet disruptions and shutdowns, reported a plunge in connectivity levels in Myanmar on Monday morning, saying that they dropped to some 50 percent of “ordinary levels” as of 8.00 a.m local time.

— NetBlocks (@netblocks) February 1, 2021

The communication problems are taking place amid reports that a spate of high-ranking civilian officials have been detained by the military.

The government of Suu Kyi, who has been de-facto civilian leader of the country since 2015, is at loggerheads with the powerful military, known as the Tatmadaw, over the result of the November general elections that the NDL won in a landslide. Tatmadaw alleged widespread fraud, and demanded the electoral commission review the results. On Thursday, the electoral board, however, poured cold water on the claims, insisting the election had not been rigged.

Biden Needs War On Iran To Address Internal Crises

The Biden administration is facing an arduous task within exceptional circumstances, represented by a national crisis and the continued coronavirus pandemic that is still out of control. Having come to power not so long ago, Biden has already signed a number of executive orders that defined the political course on urgent issues. He canceled many of Trump’s orders, such as a prohibition to citizens of some mainly Muslim countries from entering the United States, halting the US’ withdrawal from the World Health Organization and rejoining the Paris agreement on climate change, with a particular effort in grappling with the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the economy and the country’s healthcare system.

Biden has already taken an important step in the Middle East, and temporarily halted arms sales to the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. However, despite numerous claims during his electoral campaign, no significant steps have been done towards the normalization with Iran yet.

Biden faces critical internal political crisis, which resulted from mismanagement, reinforcement of hatred, suppression of the media, freedom of speech. This caused the storming of the Capitol accompanied with riot and violence, slogans and symbols threatening the American Union, reflecting a separatist spirit and a tendency to racism, which prompted the deployment of the National Guard to protect Washington, DC and secure a safe transition of power.

Biden can only manage this crisis and restore the American social path to stabilization by establishing stable cooperation between Democrats and Republicans. This is unlikely within the current political environment and the Republican majority in legislative councils. Trump’s ideology has been entrenched in minds of many Americans, and adopted as a political concept, indicating the fragility of democracy as Biden said, and the possibility of the US strength factors turning into weakness if not addressed immediately.

Evidence and events reveal that American society suffers discrimination in rights and freedoms. Social networks that represent the freedom of expression and are out of government suppression became platforms for the oppressed and actively contributed to the overthrow of dictators. Trump used it to turn against American democracy, but he did not find the freedom he wanted, so his account and thousands of pro-accounts were closed, what constituted a real coup against public freedoms under the pretext of inciting violence within an oppressive concept.

Senator Manchin Slams VP Harris' TV Interview on COVID Plan, Calls For 'Bipartisan Pathway Forward'

Joe Biden's 'American Rescue Plan' will target spheres that suffered from the coronavirus pandemic so as to provide additional direct payments for individuals, designating $1.9 trillion for the purpose. However, not everyone is enthusiastic, as suggestions have emerged that the monetary assistance should be "targeted".

West Virginia's Democratic Senator, Joe Manchin, appeared to denounce Vice President Kamala Harris on Sunday after she appeared on the state's local TV station, WSAZ, noting that the coronavirus relief plan is "a big issue" for the region and the country.

Manchin told the same station that Harris' remarks on the recently proposed American Rescue Plan (ARP) rolled out by the Biden team to tackle the coronavirus pandemic took him by surprise.

“I saw [the interview], I couldn’t believe it. No one called me [about it],” Manchin complained to the station. “We’re going to try to find a bipartisan pathway forward, but we need to work together. That’s not a way of working together.”

A fellow Democrat, Manchin is a part of a moderate bipartisan group that criticized the suggestions made by the Biden cabinet. The senator voiced his preference for more targeted measures, arguing that the financial aid is more vital for people who are struggling to make ends meet.

"We met with his economic team and they put out what they wanted. We want to help everybody that needs help,” Manchin said, reiterating his position that he supports the increase of coronavirus stimulus checks. “But if a person is making $250,000 or $300,000, I don’t think they’re in much as need as a person making $40,000 or $50,000. We’re going to target it.”

His comments come shortly after VP Harris spoke to WSAZ's Amanda Barren about the ARP, referring to the impact caused by the pandemic on the country and on West Virginia in particular.

"To your point in West Virginia, one in seven families is describing their household as being hungry, one in six can’t pay their rent, and one in four small businesses are closing permanently or have already closed, so it’s a big issue in West Virginia and across the country", the US vice president asserted.
