This is so over the top that it's got to be kayfabe.

Cruz voted against the Biden electors from both Arizona and Pennsylvania. If he didn't KNOW that there was fraud, why?

Cruz had agreed to ARGUE one of the fraud cases before the SC. If he wasn't planning to WIN, he wouldn't have made this public.

Cruz is a very astute lawyer and knows perfectly well that the legal teams were never allowed to PRESENT actual evidence in court. If he is saying things so dumb, he's got to be acting, and I suppose the purpose is to make it seem that even the most astute pro-Trump firebrand in the Senate is stabbing him in the back.
