Part of the story is that in this parallel reality JFK is never assassinated and a species of multi-dimentional demons are trying to eat us and conquer us. Weird plot eh?
In the introductory room, where you first awake. Your cooking appliance on the counter says "17" and simply stays that way.
It's worth mentioning the Haven Island level from Hitman 2 is a place for elites to have their identities altered. Also, they are spied on while there (1 doctor character brings a prostitute/mistress with him).
It looks like something out of the Virgin Islands.
Also, in the bank level the guards discuss that it is a "Masonic bank" which really surprised me.
The Hitman series strays very close to non-fiction
