You just knew this was coming.

Stacy Abrams was voted for a Nobel Peace Prize on Monday for stuffing Georgia ballot drop boxes with questionable votes.

Her buddies Governor Kemp and Secretary of State Raffensperger must feel slighted for being ignored for their assistance in stealing the state of Georgia for Joe Biden and then Marxist anti-American Senator Raphael Warnock.

And Stacy Abrams had a major assist from her sister, Judge Leslie A. Gardner, who blocked the Muscogee County Board of Elections and Registrations from keeping more than 4,000 “targeted voters” from casting ballots in the U.S. Senate runoff election on Jan. 5.

The voters in question allegedly live outside of the jurisdictions in which they were registered — which would be illegal votes in GA!

U.S. voting rights activist and Democratic Party politician Stacey Abrams has been nominated for this year’s Nobel Peace Prize for her work to promote nonviolent change via the ballot box, a Norwegian lawmaker said on Monday.

Abrams, whose work was credited with boosting voter turnout last year, helping Joe Biden win the U.S. presidency, joins a long list of nominees, including both former President Donald Trump and his son-in-law, former White House adviser Jared Kushner.

“Abrams’ work follows in Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s footsteps in the fight for equality before the law and for civil rights,” said Lars Haltbrekken, a Socialist Party member of Norway’s parliament.

King, a Baptist minister who became a leader of the 1960s civil rights movement, won the Nobel prize in 1964 and remains among its most famous laureates.

“Abrams’ efforts to complete King’s work are crucial if the United States of America shall succeed in its effort to create fraternity between all its peoples and a peaceful and just society,” Haltbrekken said.

News broke on Sunday that 21 men had accused Lincoln Project co-founder John Weaver of online harassment, according to a report by The New York Times.

The youngest victim The New York Times spoke to was just 14 years old when John Weaver started messaging and grooming him.

The New York Times says the evidence of Weaver’s online harassment is well documented and backed up by screenshots and ran between 2015-2020.

It was an open secret but the Lincoln Project is acting like they had no idea Weaver was grooming young men, including underage teen boys.

But on Monday nasty Trump-hater and wife abuser George Conway tried to tell MSNBC that he didn’t know John Weaver very well.

It didn’t take long for Joe Concha to point out that the two co-wrote an anti-Trump editorial with two other Lincoln Project goons in The New York Times back in 2019.

Twitter is quicker to ban sitting presidents and conservative commentators than alleged pedophiles. Sort your priorities, Jack

It’s not good advertising for your social media platform to be accused of having problems with sexual abuse, but Twitter, like Pornhub, has found itself in hot water as they are sued by a victim.

Around this time last year, I found myself covering Pornhub having issues with their platform hosting videos of sexual abuse. The issue was largely ignored until the pornography giant was put into a position where they had to delete most of their videos to cover their rear ends. Now Twitter finds itself in a similar kerfuffle. The social media giant is being sued by a victim of sexual abuse who ran into photos of the horrific occurrence on the platform.

The victim remains anonymous, and the lawsuit is being done through the National Center on Sexual Exploitation’s law center and the Haba Law Firm. Peter Gentala, the senior legal counsel for the National Center on Sexual Exploitation’s law center, stated, “despite its public expressions to the contrary, Twitter is swarming with uploaded child pornography and Twitter management does little or nothing to prevent it.” Investigation by the website the Post Millennial actually showed that pedophiles were using Twitter to share pornography with rather disgusting specifications. Open pedophiles have tried to use Twitter to push the process of normalizing pedophilia as well.

Though Twitter has recently updated its terms of service, some have argued this is too little too late. Given all the time that Twitter seems to have sat on their hands about this, it makes you wonder exactly how many federal crimes have been committed on the platform openly because Twitter’s moderation team did not prioritize this. In fact, it seems like they were far more preoccupied with banning political accounts than those of pedophiles. That doesn’t strike me as a company that has its priorities in order.

I can’t say that I have ever run a social media company, but being someone who owns a business, I do know a little bit about branding. This sort of behavior, or lack thereof, is of course grossly immoral. Beyond the obvious, this lack of prioritizing the proper moderation of content that quite literally breaks laws shows that the Twitter brand might want to change its symbol. You might as well decapitate the bird, because it seems like the top brass of this company are running around like headless chickens. Where’s the direction?

As of right now, Twitter is in a strange place. Its stock price isn’t too far from the highest it has ever been, but they constantly seem to be mired in controversy. On a business level, it’s understandable why people might not want to invest in the company as opposed to Tesla, for example. It seems like every week there is news of someone being censored or abuse like this going on. The question needs to be asked whether or not Twitter really takes itself that seriously as a company. If I were a parent, I would never want my children anywhere near your platform. Heck, the only reason that I keep an account is for promotion.

With competition out there now such as Minds or Parler, Twitter as a company needs to realize that as the years go by, they are going to have to compete. If the other websites can gain a more casual following on top of having much better moderation and less censorship, we’ll likely see Twitter start to lose its ground in the social media space. Given the existence of this lawsuit plus prior complaints, that might actually be for the best.

Russian Fighter Jet Buzzes US Warship In Black Sea As American Presence Builds

The United States military has condemned a provocative low flyby of the USS Donald Cook by a Russian fighter jet as the American warship traversed the Black Sea on Sunday.

"The Sukhoi Su-24 fighter-bomber screeched past the U.S. destroyer while it was operating in international waters, the U.S. Navy’s 6th Fleet said in a statement," according to Stars and Stripes.

The Navy subsequently released video of the Russian jet buzzing the US warship as it conducted what a statement called legitimate operations to "ensure security and stability" in the Black Sea region.

We reported earlier that the US has beefed up its presence there within the week after recently sworn in President Biden entering the White House. Last Thursday a guided-missile destroyer, the USS Porter, was the third American naval vessel to have entered the Black Sea within the week prior, with the other two - the USS Donald Cook and USNS Laramie - having been there since the prior Sunday.

Russia is said to be closely tracking the US vessels' movements, also as they are apparently conducting military exercises while deployed, as Stripes details:

12 arrested in SWAT operation after activists armed with KNIVES & AXES briefly occupy hotel in Olympia, WA

A dozen people were arrested after armed protesters attempted to forcibly take over the Red Lion Hotel in Olympia, Washington. A SWAT team cleared out the hotel and escorted guests and employees out of the building.

Demonstrators armed with hatchets, batons, and knives stormed the Red Lion Hotel in downtown Olympia on Sunday, reportedly assaulting an employee who tried to lock the establishment’s doors. The rest of the staff barricaded themselves in the hotel’s basement, according to a police statement.

The group, identified as a homeless activism organization called Oly Housing Now, had earlier reserved 17 rooms in the hotel on behalf of “unhoused individuals,” city officials said. Around 45 people were involved in the brief occupation, with demonstrators demanding long-term accommodation for the city’s homeless. At the time, around 40 rooms were booked by guests not affiliated with the protesters, and many of them were forced to lock their doors until help arrived.

After receiving 911 calls from the hotel’s employees, police obtained a search warrant for first degree burglary, trespassing, and conspiracy to commit burglary, local media reported.

Washington State Patrol’s SWAT team, accompanied by local police and officers from the county sheriff’s office, entered the hotel on Sunday evening and began arresting the activists.

The SWAT team cleared out the building in a room-by-room search as law enforcement personnel escorted employees and guests to safety.

At least 12 individuals were arrested during the operation.

Videos taken at the scene show protesters outside of the hotel confronting police, who arrived in armored trucks and were outfitted in riot gear.

According to eyewitness reports, officers used crowd control munitions, including flashbangs, while retaking the hotel and dispersing crowds that had gathered outside the building.

Mayor Cheryl Selby denounced the activists in a statement, saying that their actions were “unproductive” and won’t make the goal of providing housing to those in need more attainable.

The capital of Washington state has been rocked by protests and violence in recent months. In December, one person was shot after left-wing Antifa activists clashed with a group of Proud Boys, a right-wing organization.
