Burmese Leader Ousted For Vote Fraud In Military Coup Had Close Clinton, Soros Ties

Globalist liberal Aung San Suu Kyi was a close ally of leading Democrats

State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi, who was ousted on Monday by the military for purported fraud in Burma’s November elections, had close ties to the Clinton family and Barack Obama.

Former Secretary Hillary Clinton had developed a close relationship with Aung San Suu Kyi following the first meeting between the two liberal female politicians in 2011, and upon meeting, they began “strategizing”.

“After so many years of reading and thinking about this celebrated Burmese dissident, we were finally face to face,” Clinton wrote in Hard Choices, her account of her tenure as Secretary of State. “I felt we had known each other for a lifetime, even though we had just met…Soon we were chatting, strategizing and laughing like old friends.”

Clinton advised Aung San Suu Kyi to contest a parliamentary seat in the 2012 Burmese elections, which Aung San Suu Kyi ultimately did, kickstarting the latter’s formal political career in Burma, also known as Myanmar.

The admiration between the two liberals went both ways. Aung San Suu Kyi heaped praise on Clinton,

Aung San Suu Kyi also received strong support from then-President Barack Obama, who routinely advocated for her release from house arrest. Aung San Suu Kyi was arrested repeatedly during the 1990s and 2000s for “subversive acts”, following her involvement in riots against the Myanmar government.

Obama awarded her the U.S. Congressional Gold Medal in 2012, which she described as “one of the most moving days of my life”.

Ultimately, the Obama administration engineered Aung San Suu Kyi’s rise to power in 2015, by placing sanctions on Myanmar and insisting on only removing them if Aung San Suu Kyi was given a political role in the country.

Another important ally of Aung San Suu Kyi was progressive billionaire George Soros and his global NGO network, which strongly supported her activities.

“I have been and remain very much guided by her vision in my involvement in Burma,” Soros said after meeting her in 2012.

Soros’ Open Society Foundations (OSF) has had a ‘Burma Project’ since 1994, which worked for years to undermine the government of Myanmar. According to Myanmar’s Eleven Media, over 100 NGOs active in the country have received Soros funding:

George Soros, now 89 years old, has also been criticised as manipulating Myanmar’s politics with him supporting over 100 organizations through the Open Society Foundation (OSF), as stated on the foundation’s website.

DVB, Yangon Journalism School, Thabyay Education Foundation, Mal Daw Clinic, Equality Myanmar, Myanmar Observer Group Media Group, Institute for Strategy and Policy: Myanmar, Myanmar Institute for Peace and Security, Pen Myanmar, Myanmar China Pipeline Watch Committee, Myanmar Center to Empower Regional Parliaments, Network for Human Rights Documentation Burma (ND-Burma), Bangladesh Legal Aid and Services Trust, Irrawaddy Publishing Group are amongst many that have been stated as partners by the OSF. The OSF had also stated that Fortify Right group, a group fighting for Bengali rights under the title human rights, was also funded by it once.

Much like Aung San Suu Kyi, leading Democrats in the United States have also been accused of committing widespread vote fraud and then refusing to allow any investigation into the evidence produced regarding it.

State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi, the leader of the liberal National League for Democracy (NLD) party, served as the de-facto leader of the country, despite being constitutionally ineligible for the office. She ruled through her proxy, President Min Wynt, who was the formal leader of the country. The arrangement bears some similarity to the relationship between Vice President Kamala Harris and President Joe Biden in the United States. Both Aung San Suu Kyi and President Min Wynt were arrested by the military on Monday morning.

Rabobank: Uprisings And Revolutions Are Often The Result Of Expensive Silver

Long, John: Silver

You won't fight, as gentlemen o' fortune should; then, by thunder, you'll obey, and you may lay to it!

Friday was still Game On for the Redd-olution not Game Over, and the new target today is to go long, John: silver. The word is that, like GameStop, gold and silver prices are being repressed by shorts as a way to hide the inflation that our central-bank money printing is creating. If you don’t look at the price of houses, or healthcare, or education, or food, or commodities, or stocks, or junk bonds then, yes, I suppose low gold and silver prices are worth considering. So the Redd-olution is going to sail on to attack asset after asset like The Crimson Permanent Assurance, forcing those short to walk the plank, and leaving regulators and the financial media pearl-clutching in their wake. That’s already important. However, the fact that silver seems the booty all Reddit pirates are a-sailin’ for leads this particular captain to cry “Fair warned be ye, says I.”

We all know modern economic textbooks are irrelevant in their treatment of money, which is exogenous to their ‘models’, but older studies are instructive. ‘The Mystery of Money’ (Taylor, 1862) is a product of its time and a British mind-set, but makes claims on money and metals that relate to the Redditors today. For example, prior to the Norman invasion of 1066, kings demanded tribute from their subjects in the form of direct labour or goods (crops, sheep, oxen, etc.). This meant everyone could pay their taxes. It also made physical production of key goods doubly worthwhile, both to eat/store, and to pay taxes with. (Taylor calls this ‘tribute money’.) However, subsequent kings shifted to allowing tax payments first as either labor/goods or in silver coin which as a precious metal had its own value - ‘mercantile money’ as he dubs it and eventually to only in silver. Notably, this came with serious, negative side effects.

Tribute money “was the servant of the people: they could use it or not, as it suited them; but when payments in coined money were made absolute, then the king's money became the master of the people…Then to accumulate money was to accumulate sheep and oxen in advance, without the trouble of feeding them…The corn-grower, therefore, would be tempted to hoard his money, rather than to expend it in increasing the productions of the soil; and this would go on until the progressive increase of the population having, at last, overtaken the average productions of the cultivated lands, a famine would ensue; and a famine from the scarcity of money, unlike that arising from a temporary interruption in the order of nature.”

Obviously, this made kings far more powerful: “…an absolute money system was infinitely superior, as a means of oppression, to the absolute military power of the conqueror.” However, by switching to silver the kings also made themselves less powerful. For centuries, royals failed to maintain an adequate physical supply of silver coinage, with crippling economic, deflationary effects. Uprisings and revolutions were often the result of expensive silver!

Evan Rachel Wood accuses former fiancé Marilyn Manson of abusing her

For the first time, Evan Rachel Wood is attaching a name to her alleged abuser.

On Monday morning, the “Westworld” Emmy nominee dropped a bombshell revelation about horrific abuse she claims to have suffered while in a relationship with musician Marilyn Manson.

“The name of my abuser is Brian Warner,” she wrote on Instagram and in a statement to Vanity Fair.

“Also known to the world as Marilyn Manson. He started grooming me when I was a teenager and horrifically abused me for years,” the 33-year-old actress continued. “I was brainwashed and manipulated into submission. I am done living in fear of retaliation, slander, or blackmail. I am here to expose this dangerous man and call out the many industries that have enabled him, before he ruins any more lives. I stand with the many victims who will no longer be silent.”

Wood began a romantic relationship with the goth singer as a teen, though the pair kept quiet until Wood reached the age of 19. Manson, now 52, was 38 when the couple came out. In 2010, they were briefly engaged before calling it quits.

But it wasn’t until years later that rumors would take hold that Manson had groomed Wood into an abusive and subservient relationship.

Evan Rachel Wood testifies on Capitol Hill about her rape and torture

Last fall, Manson abruptly ended an interview with UK music site Metal Hammer when the reporter mentioned Wood’s name. The shock-rocker’s camp later issued a lengthy statement, denying all abuse charges.

“Manson has never shied away from public comment — equally he does not have to make ‘the same comment twice,'” his spokesperson said at the time.

Reps for both Manson and Wood did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment about her latest statements.

Along with the recent post, she has also taken to social media to share shocking stories on behalf of several other women who allege they have also been groomed and abused by the “Dope Show” singer — and now want him held “accountable.”

Wood’s message comes five years after she first spoke out about an abusive relationship, to Rolling Stone in 2016. In 2019, Wood helped forge California’s Phoenix Act, a bill that extended the statute of limitations for domestic violence cases from three to five years — and gave testimony on her “rape and torture” during the California Senate hearing.

“I mustered the courage to leave several times, but he would call my house incessantly and threaten to kill himself,” Wood said in her testimony. “On one occasion, I returned to try and defuse the situation, he cornered me in our bedroom, and asked me to kneel. Then he tied me up by my hands and feet. Once I was restrained he beat me and shocked sensitive parts of my body with a torture device called a violet wand. To him it was a way for me to prove my loyalty. The pain was excruciating. It felt like I left my body and a part of me died that day.”

Biden’s Adviser To Pick Federal Judges Was Accused of Physically Assaulting Children, Nudity

Will Joe Cotchett's Divorce History Haunt Him?

Joe Cotchett, the Joe Biden fundraiser and longtime friend who is largely responsible for the Biden administration’s upcoming federal judge picks, was accused by his ex-wife in his divorce case of physically abusing his children and making his daughters uncomfortable for walking around naked in front of them.

Politico Playbook reported: “The Biden administration’s transition team has tapped powerhouse Bay Area attorney Joe Cotchett to chair a key committee to recommend federal judges to Biden. “You saw what Trump did, in appointing 200-plus federal judges,’’ he told POLITICO in an interview. Cotchett’s friendship with Biden goes back 45 years — so, he said, he has agreed to help the new administration work quickly to identify qualified federal judges who will apply for senior status, so those seats can be filled quickly and efficiently.”

Kamala Harris’ ex-boyfriend Willie Brown also recently stated that Cotchett is leading a commission to recommend judges to Biden. Cotchett is co-chairing the commission of lawyers, according to California Courts Newsroom.

As National File has noted, Joe Cotchett, a San Francisco trial lawyer, reportedly co-hosted a $1,500 to $10,000 per head fundraiser for Joe Biden’s presidential campaign in October 2019 in Palo Alto, California. Cotchett is closely tied to Biden. Described by POLITICO as “a longtime friend of Biden’s and prominent West Coast Biden bundler,” Cotchett lobbied for Tammy Duckworth to become Biden’s running mate. But Cotchett previously tried to seal records pertaining to his divorce, and certain allegations made by his art critic ex-wife Victoria.

SF Weekly reported on May 23, 2007: “In her March 28 sworn declaration, she accused Cotchett of being a name-calling tyrant, one who would push his kids’ faces into their plates, or pull them away from the table by their hair when they didn’t finish their meals. She also described him as a foul-mouthed heavy drinker who averaged one bottle of wine each evening and drove with a plastic glass of wine, sometimes when the girls were in the car with him. She claimed her hubby liked to walk around the house naked — even as the couple’s two daughters grew older and became uncomfortable with his nudity. When she asked him to stop, he allegedly screamed he would do “whatever he fucking well pleased,” according to her court declaration. (Cotchett filed depositions of a nanny and a housekeeper who said they never witnessed any sort of abuse.)”

Biden’s vice president Kamala Harris previously said that she believes a coterie of women including a former Nevada lieutenant governor candidate who accused Joe Biden of touching them inappropriately or kissing or sniffing them. This past statement could come back to haunt Harris now that she is Biden’s running mate.

“I believe them and I respect them being able to tell their story and having the courage to do it,” Kamala Harris said in April 2019, speaking in Nevada.

Facebook Reverses Decision to Ban Trump-Backed HCQ as COVID Therapy

Facebook’s Oversight Board reversed the social media platform’s decision to remove a post promoting the Trump-boosted referencing hydroxychloroquine as a treatment to COVID-19.

“In October 2020, a user posted a video and accompanying text in French in a public Facebook group related to COVID-19,” the board summarized on its website.

“The post alleged a scandal at the Agence Nationale de Sécurité du Médicament (the French agency responsible for regulating health products), which refused to authorize hydroxychloroquine combined with azithromycin for use against COVID-19, but authorized and promoted remdesivir. The user criticized the lack of a health strategy in France and stated that “[Didier] Raoult’s cure” is being used elsewhere to save lives. The user’s post also questioned what society had to lose by allowing doctors to prescribe in an emergency a “harmless drug” when the first symptoms of COVID-19 appear,” the overwhelmingly left-wing board added.

The group makes a distinction that while the post pushed back against the French government’s COVID-10 approach, it did not explicitly urge other to take Hydroxychloroquine.

“The combination of medicines that the post claims constitute a cure are not available without a prescription in France and the content does not encourage people to buy or take drugs without a prescription. Considering these and other contextual factors, the Board noted that Facebook had not demonstrated the post would rise to the level of imminent harm, as required by its own rule in the Community Standards.”

The board also questioned why Facebook “failed to demonstrate why it did not choose a less intrusive option than removing the” post promoting the Trump-favored treatment.

‘I want these officers fired!’ Outrage after police pepper-spray handcuffed NINE-YEAR-OLD girl in Rochester, New York

An internal review was launched after a police officer was filmed pepper-spraying a minor who was sitting in the back of a patrol car. Police claimed the girl was suicidal and threatened to kill her mother.

A minute-long bodycam video shows a girl in handcuffs sitting in the back of a police car. She is distressed and does not appear to be following the officers’ commands. The clip was edited to blur the girl’s face.

“Come on. I’m gonna pepper spray you, and I don’t want to, so sit back. Come on, this is your last chance, otherwise pepper spray is going in your eyeballs. Come on, let’s go,” an officer says.

“I want my dad,” the sobbing girl pleads, to which a female officer replies: “I’m gonna go get him.” She adds: “I will fix it,” apparently referring to the cuffs.

Another officer joins in, asking the girl to “just stop for a second and take a deep breath.”

She is then heard screaming: “Please no! Stop!” The officer soon takes out a spray can and points it at the girl’s face.

“It went into my eye! Please!” the girl yells, as the officer is heard telling his colleague: “I got her, I got her.” He then closes the car door from the outside, steps away from the vehicle and lets out a sigh. He calmly adds: “Unbelievable.”

According to the local newspaper Democrat and Chronicle, police were called in for “family trouble” involving a potentially stolen vehicle. They were then approached by the custodial parents of the girl, who said she feared that the minor would hurt herself and others. The girl was said to have run away from home before being apprehended on a nearby street.

Police said the minor became “agitated” and began to pull away and kick the officers when she saw her custodial parent. The girl was then handcuffed for her own “safety,” and at the request of the parent. The child remained non-compliant, refusing to put her feet in the car, which “required an officer to use an irritant on the minor,” police said.

The girl was then taken to a hospital and later released to her family.

Rochester Police Captain Mark Mura said that the incident is currently under review. He explained that the initial call was about a woman having a dispute with her boyfriend who took her vehicle from the home.

At a news conference on Sunday, Rochester Deputy Police Chief Andre Anderson told reporters that the girl had “indicated she wanted to kill herself and she wanted to kill her mom.”

At the same time, Rochester Interim Police Chief Cynthia Herriott-Sullivan said, “I’m not going to stand here and tell you that for a 9-year-old to have to be pepper-sprayed is OK.”

Mayor Lovely Warren earlier said she was “deeply troubled” by the incident, and has directed the police to carry out a “thorough investigation.”

“This is not something that any of us should want to justify, can justify,” Warren said. “And it is something we have to change.”

Several city councilmembers said they were equally shocked and angered by the way police treated the minor.

“NINE?! How afraid of a handcuffed 9 year old girl were they that they needed to pepper spray her?” councilmember Mary Lupien tweeted. “Having been pepper sprayed I can attest that this incident will change her life. There will be accountability for this.”

Robinhood narrows trade restrictions list to 8 companies, including GameStop

Online brokerage Robinhood has cut down the list of its restricted stocks, from as many as 50 on Friday to eight starting Monday. Trade in short-squeeze names like GameStop has been limited due to last week’s explosive rallies.

Companies that still face limitations include GameStop, AMC Entertainment Holdings, Blackberry, and others, Robinhood said, noting that the limits may be “subject to change throughout the day.”

Opening new positions in those securities is limited, according to its website, which lists the maximum number of shares and options contracts each user can hold. For those whose current holdings already exceed the limits, their positions won’t be sold or closed. At the moment, customers can only buy one share of GameStop’s stock and five options contracts.

The millennial-favored stock trading app said on Friday it had put buying restrictions in place after its clearinghouse deposit requirements for equities increased last week. “It was not because we wanted to stop people from buying these stocks,” Robinhood said.

The trading app, which is popular among retail investors who fostered the rise of GameStop stock, has been under fire for its decision to restrict trading of high-flying stocks that surged after being touted on social media.

On Sunday, US Senator Elizabeth Warren called for a broader review by the Securities and Exchange Commission on recent trading swings. She said a broker-dealer like Robinhood that invites a lot of individual investors needs to operate “under some basic rules.”

“You can’t do that in the middle of a trading cycle,” Warren told CNN about Robinhood’s trading limits. “It’s not about protecting people from making bad trades. It’s about keeping the playing field level.”

A speculative buying frenzy swept Wall Street last week due to a wave of stay-at-home traders who used social media, in this case Reddit’s WallStreetBets forum, to coordinate massive short squeezes. Shares of GameStop, a struggling brick-and-mortar video game retailer, catapulted 400 percent in the past week, closing out January with a 1,625 percent rally. The stock of American basic cable television channel AMC surged 277 percent last week, while headphone maker Koss soared more than 1,800 percent higher.

Zuckerberg Explains Facebook Blacklisting Trump: He wanted to ‘Undermine’ the Transition of Power

In recent Facebook insider footage leaked by Project Veritas, company CEO Mark Zuckerberg justifies the blacklisting of former President Donald Trump, claiming that he wanted to “undermine” the transition of power.

Project Veritas recently revealed that the group has obtained hours of insider footage from Facebook meetings featuring top company executives, including CEO Mark Zuckerberg. During one of these meetings, Zuckerberg explained that a large reason for blacklisting former President Trump from the platform was due to fears that he wanted to “undermine” the transition of power.

Zuckerberg discussed the former President and the Capitol Protests, stating: “It’s so important that our political leaders lead by example, make sure we put the nation first here, and what we’ve seen is that the president [Trump] has been doing the opposite of that…The president [Trump] intends to use his remaining time in office to undermine the peaceful and lawful transition of power.”

Zuckerberg added: “His [Trump’s] decision to use his platform to condone rather than condemn the actions of his supporters in the Capitol I think has rightly bothered and disturbed people in the US and around the world.”

Zuckerberg further insinuated that Capitol protesters were treated better than Black Lives Matter protesters: “I know this is just a very difficult moment for a lot of us here, and especially our black colleagues. It was troubling to see how people in this [Capitol] mob were treated compared to the stark contrast we saw during protests earlier this [past] year,” he said.

London Bridge Jihadi’s Widow Granted 15K in Legal Aid, as Victim’s Families Denied Funding

The British taxpayer has shelled out over £15,000 to the widow of the mastermind behind the 2017 London Bridge terror attack, while the families of victims were denied similar financial support.

Zahrah Rehman — the widow of Islamic State-inspired Pakistani-born husband Khuram Butt — was given £15,660 in legal aid for the inquest into the death of her husband and his two jihadi accomplices. She was provided with a group of stand-funded solicitors as well as a QC during the inquiry.

While Rehman was given taxpayer support, the families of the victims were not afforded an automatic right to be legally represented during the inquiries, The Mirror reported. Police shot dead all three jihadists at the scene of the terror attack; the newspaper explained that legal aid is often offered to the relatives of those killed by the state.

James Hodder — the boyfriend of Australian nurse Kirsty Boden, who was stabbed to death during the attack while trying to save other victims — said: “I’m sure she [Ms Rehman] needed financial aid quite rightly, but so did we. What’s the difference?”

“I would demand a fully transparent justification for why the attackers’ families are supported by the state but none of the victims’ families were given a single penny,” he said.

He concluded: “Representation at the inquest was essential. The inquest involves incredibly complex and niche areas of law.

“Without a trained legal team you stand no chance of being able to scrutinise proceedings and ensure lessons can be learnt. You simply can’t engage with the inquest without legal support.”

Aside from funding the legal expenses of the terrorist’s widow, the public also spent some £781,784 to represent the Metropolitan Police and the London Ambulance Service.

The Ministry of Justice said: “Bereaved families at inquests have a special status which means that the coroner can ask questions on their behalf to help ensure they get the answers they need.”

During the inquest, Zahrah Rehman claimed that she was unaware of her jihadi husband’s terroristic intentions, saying: “We were living together. But it was almost as if we were living different lives.

“I knew it was a possibility that he wanted to go to Syria… but he never told me that he hates this country and wanted to attack this country.”

As Govt Eyes Tax Rises, British Taxpayer Burden is Already at 70-Year High

The burden on the British taxpayer has hit levels not seen in 70 years, yet the Treasury secretary is considering tax hikes to make up for the massive budget shortfalls incurred during the Chinese coronavirus crisis and the ensuing lockdowns.

Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak is reportedly mulling tax hikes in response to soaring government debt, which have already reached 100 per cent of GDP. The new debt, largely incurred through furlough payments to workers forced to stay at home, could rise above £400 billion this year.

The Chancellor is said to be considering increasing the capital gains tax from 20 per cent to up to 45 per cent, an increase on fuel duties, and raising corporation tax from 19 to 24 per cent — a raid on individuals and businesses to pay for the government’s coronavirus lockdown spending spree.

If Sunak were to introduce the tax hikes, the notionally Conservative government under Prime Minister Boris Johnson would usher in a level of taxation unseen in the UK since the post World War II era under Clement Atlee’s Labour government, according to the Taxpayers’ Alliance, The Telegraph reported.

The chief executive of the low-tax campaign group, John O’Connell, warned that a capital gains tax would adversely affect the prospects of an economic recovery.

“Capital gains tax is a double tax that harms investment, which is precisely what we should avoid if we want to kick-start growth and help create jobs,” he said.

Adding: “The sustained tax burden is now the highest it’s been since the country was recovering from the Second World War 70 years ago, and any tax rises in the next Budget will put that figure even higher.

“In these difficult times, the Chancellor should give hard-pressed families and businesses a respite from taxes, offer a rescue to struggling sectors and try to revive the economy.”

While the 2019 Conservative Party manifesto pledged not to increase VAT, inheritance, and National Insurance taxes, there was no pledge to keep corporation or capital gains taxes down.

Soaring Taxes on Their Way to Pay for Britain's Mammoth Corona Debt https://t.co/kepYbCbvwg

— Breitbart London (@BreitbartLondon) January 23, 2021

Aside from increasing taxes, the Mr Sunak is also reportedly looking to cut spending in the government’s March budget, as opposed to the infrastructure spending push favoured by Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

From April to December of last year, government borrowing rose by some £271 billion, with £34 billion borrowed in December, alone, the third most for any month in British history and the most expensive since the start of the pandemic.

Despite the rising debt, borrowing money will remain cheap for the generally robust UK economy, however, reflecting the view of global investors that the UK government is a low-risk debt to lenders. The S&P credit rating agency forecast that the UK will pay less on its debt than it is currently, despite the rising costs of the economic shutdown.

A sovereign debt specialist for the agency, Frank Gill, said: “Our calculation is that the average rate that the UK is paying on its debt today is around 1.8 per cent. That compares to a little over 3 per cent in 2014, so the cost of funding really is very low and we expect it to remain well below the UK’s growth performance over the next few years.”

“The likelihood is that they’ll probably pay even less on their debt in three years’ time than they do today,” he added.

Last week, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) reported that unemployment in the UK hit five per cent for the first time in over four years, with more than 200,000 people losing their jobs in the three months up to November.

In total, some 828,000 fewer people were employed per company payrolls as of December compared to February 2020, the month before lockdown measures were introduced.

'Clinton Body Count' Exposed By A 'Canary In The Coal Mine' Within Congress Who Warns: 'If Republicans Cower To The Mob, They’re Opening The Door To Come After Every Single One Of Us'

By Stefan Stanford - All News Pipeline - Live Free Or Die

On January 30th, we told you about two incredibly courageous Congresswomen who were helping to 'red pill' America with their unwavering outspokenness on a variety of topics long considered 'taboo' for Americans, and especially politicians, to talk about, and now we learn that Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has also ventured where no politicians will tread, into the 'Clinton body count' long called by the mainstream media 'conspiracy theory'.

As this story over at The South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports, while Democrats in Congress are trying to not only 'silence' her but at least 'politically' bury Greene, she herself recently dropped this nugget of truth:

"If Republicans cower to the mob, and let the Democrats and the fake news media take me out, they’re opening the door to come after every single Republican until there’s none left.".

Positioning herself as the very real 'canary in the coal mine' of tyranny in America with her being IN Congress, Greene also ventured into 'forbidden territory' by calling out Barack Obama as being a Muslim, suggesting that a devastating wildfire that ravaged California was started by 'a laser' beamed down from space and she once posted a story to an alternative news website titled "MUST READ — Democratic Party Involved With Child Sex, Satanism, and The Occult."

Surely blowing the minds out of her constituents in Congress who've long peddled the lies that the mainstream media then echoes across the land, Greene also has claimed in numerous videos and social media posts that a bunch of the school shootings under Barack Obama were 'false flag events' designed to gain political support for mass gun control laws here in America.

Warning that those 'events' were actually planned and perpetrated by US government officials, she had also allegedly put out a video back in October of 2020 within which she warned that the "only way you get your freedoms back is it’s earned with the price of blood."

So while we'll continue to pray that America goes peacefully into the years ahead and that the globalists satanic agenda is stifled by a mass awakening of all people, we should be witnessing a major 'triggering' of Democrats in 2021, with Greene and Tulsi Gabbard in Congress stirring up a sh*t-storm from within and topics long considered way off limits now being discussed.

And with one of those topics being the 'Clinton body count' which we'll take an extended look at in the next section of this story below, with Hillary Clinton once calling for 'fun camps' for Americans to be 're-programmed' while the Democrats 2021 agenda looks more like Communism than freedom, Americans across the country serve their families best by being prepared for anything and 'loaded for bear' as we go forward into the unknown future.

Biden Kills Trump Budget Cuts Totaling $27.4 Billion

On Sunday, President Biden sent a letter to congressional leaders announcing that he would reverse former President Trump’s freezing of $27.4 billion in government programs.

On January 14, Trump had used a process called rescission to make the budget cutsThe House Committee on the Budget explains of rescission:

Put simply, if the President wants to spend less money than Congress provided for a particular purpose, he or she must first secure a law providing Congressional approval to rescind the funding in question. The ICA requires that the President send a special message to Congress identifying the amount of the proposed rescission; the reasons for it; and the budgetary, economic, and programmatic effects of the rescission.

Upon transmission of such special message, the President may withhold certain funding in the affected accounts for up to 45 legislative session days. If a law approving the rescission is not enacted within the 45 days, any withheld funds must be made available for obligation.

The House Committee on the Budget continues, “A 2018 Government Accountability Office legal opinion holds that if the President proposes a rescission, he or she must make the affected funds available to be prudently obligated before the funds expire, even if the 45-day clock is still running. This means, for example, that the President cannot strategically time a rescission request for late in the fiscal year and withhold the funding until it expires, thus achieving a rescission without Congressional approval.”.Trump had asked for 73 cutbacks to the 2021 federal budget totaling $27.4 billion. But on Sunday, Biden wrote, “I am withdrawing 73 proposed rescissions previously transmitted to the Congress.”

The Hill reported of Trump’s attempt to freeze funding: “The letter asked leaders in the House and Senate to impound funds from almost every Cabinet-level agency including the Environmental Protection Agency. The request also included cuts from the National Endowments for the Arts and Humanities, the Peace Corps and the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars among a slew of others.”

In December, Trump stated, “I will sign the Omnibus and Covid package with a strong message that makes clear to Congress that wasteful items need to be removed. I will send back to Congress a redlined version, item by item, accompanied by the formal rescission request to Congress insisting that those funds be removed from the bill.”

In his letter, Biden laid out the laundry list of recipients of the funding:

The withdrawals are for the Department of Agriculture, Commerce, Education, Energy, Health and Human Services, Homeland Security, the Interior, Justice, Labor, State, and the Treasury, as well as the African Development Foundation, the Commission of Fine Arts, the Corporation for National and Community Service, the District of Columbia, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Inter-American Foundation, the Millennium Challenge Corporation, the National Endowment for the Arts and Humanities, the National Gallery of Art, the Peace Corps, the Presidio Trust, the United States Agency for International Development, the United States Army Corps of Engineers, the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, and the Legislative Branch.

Robinhood Got An Additional $2.4 Billion Capital Bailout Over The Weekend

Confirming the rumors that CNBC’s David Faber reported earlier, The Wall Street Journal reports that, according to people familiar with the matter, Robinhood raised another $2.4 billion from investors. That is on top of the $1 billion raised last Thursday.

The $3.4 billion raised since last Thursday is more than the company has raised in its entire prior existence.

That stunning addition amounts to more than half of the current balance sheet…

This helps explain why this morning has seen Robinhood reduce the number of securities on its restricted list and increased the number of shares that users can buy on some of the highest risk stocks (e.g. clients can now buy 4 GME shares, not just 1).

Update 0931 EST: CNBC’s David Faber says on-air this morning he’s “hearing Robinhood is probably going to need more capital”.

Forbes reports that Tenev told Elon Musk over the weekend he had “no reason” to believe that “something shady” went down involving Robinhood and Citadel last week. He told Musk: “You’re getting into conspiracy theories a little bit.”

UNBELIEVABLE: With Biden in Charge the WHO Is Back to Investigating Bat Soup at a Wuhan Food Market for Causing the China Coronavirus

What an incredible waste of time. The World Health Organization (WHO) is looking over a Chinese food market in Wuhan to find origins of the China coronavirus.

According to Newsmax:

A World Health Organization team looking into the origins of the coronavirus pandemic on Sunday visited a market known to be the food distribution center for the Chinese city of Wuhan during the 76-day lockdown last year.

The team members were seen walking through sections of the Baishazhou market — one of the largest wet markets in Wuhan — surrounded by a large entourage of Chinese officials and representatives.

The members, with expertise in veterinarian, virology, food safety and epidemiology, have so far visited two hospitals at the center of the early outbreak — Wuhan Jinyintan Hospital and the Hubei Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital.

On Saturday, they also visited a museum exhibition dedicated to the early history of COVID-19.

The Geneva-based WHO said on Twitter last Thursday that the team plans to visit hospitals and markets like the Huanan Seafood Market, which was linked to many of the first cases. They also listed the Wuhan Institute of Virology and laboratories at facilities including the Wuhan Center for Disease Control.

China is still seeking to avoid blame for the pandemic that impacted the entire world. Only two weeks ago, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo confirmed our reporting from last year where we identified the Wuhan Institute of Virology as the epicenter of the China coronavirus.

Now with Biden in office the Chinese know they can say whatever they want and Beijing Biden will go along with it.

GOP Rep. Adam Kinzinger says 'we traffic in lies' as he launches campaign to 'take party back' from Trump and QAnon-following congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene

Republican Congressman Adam Kinzinger has launched a new campaign to take the party back from influence of members like Donald Trump and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.

'The Republican Party has lost its way. If we are to lead again, we need to muster the courage to remember who we are,' Kinzinger, 42, said in a video launching his Country 1st PAC.

'Republicans must say enough is enough. It's time to unplug the outrage machine, reject the politics of personality, and cast aside the conspiracy theories and the rage,' he added.

His political action committee, unveiled in a six-minute video released Sunday, will challenge the current direction of a GOP that Kinzinger argues has wrongly become a 'Trump-first party.'

'The biggest danger right now is that we've become a party that dabbles — not just dabbles — we traffic in conspiracies and we traffic in lies,' the GOP representative from Illinois said.

The PAC will serve as his way to financially influence the GOP ahead of the 2022 midterm election.

And it comes as the Republican Party is struggling with a deep divide in its ranks - between the radical beliefs associated with Trump and Greene and the traditionalists who want to return the party to its conservative roots.

Kinzinger, a former darling of the conservative Tea Party movement, decried the views of people like Greene and made it clear he thinks House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy has shown weak leadership when it comes to dealing with the more radical elements of the GOP.

But his move also shows the dilemma that many Republicans face - speaking out against Trump angers the former president's millions of loyal supporters, who are a force of their own in the GOP.

Kinzinger revealed to NBC' 'Meet the Press' on Sunday that he has had friends and family turn against him, telling him he's 'possessed by the devil' as he distanced himself from the Trump wing.

He was one of the 10 Republicans who voted to impeach Trump for inciting the January 6th attack, which he cited as a personal breaking point for himself. Kinzinger is an Air Force veteran, who has served in Iraq and Afghanistan. The Illinois Republican Party is expected to censure Kinzinger for his impeachment vote.

He decried the actions of Greene, who has come to national prominence in recent days as her past musing on social media have come to light, including that she thought California's wildfire was caused by space lasers; claimed that Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, before her death, was using a body double; and that Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin cut off a child's face while she was alive - all of which are false.

Kinzinger also had harsh words for Trump ally on Capitol Hill Rep. Jim Jordan, who is pushing to expel Republican Rep. Liz Cheney for the party leadership for criticizing Trump for inciting the MAGA mob who attacked the Capitol, leaving five dead and a path of destruction in their wake.

'They're political terrorists,' Kinzinger said of Jordan and his allies, on a zoom call with reporters over the weekend, according to The Washington Post.

But Greene also has her own strong cache of supporters. She announced on Friday she raised $1.6 million off all the controversy surrounding her and revealed on Saturday she had spoken to Trump, who, in the past, called her a 'future Republican star.'

Republicans are facing their own reckoning as they struggle on a path forward after losing control of the White House and the Senate to Democrats.

McCarthy is expected to meet face-to-face with Greene this week to discuss her social media postings, many of which happened before she was a member of Congress. In them, she expressed support for killing Democratic politicians, touted unfounded QAnon theories along with racist views.

The House Republican Conference meets Wednesday to debate Cheney's status and discuss whether to punish Greene for her actions.

McCarthy originally said Trump bares some responsibility for the January 6th MAGA riot on Capitol Hill, for which the former president criticized him, reportedly calling him a 'p***y.'

But McCarthy apparently has made amends. On Thursday he met with Trump at Mar-a-Lago in Palm beach, Florida, in a meeting that was described as 'very good and cordial.' The readout was released with a photo of the two men smiling.

America vows to 'take action' if Myanmar military coup is not reversed after soldiers arrest Aung San Suu Ky, the president and MPs in dawn raids

America has vowed to 'take action' if Myanmar military coup is not reversed after soldiers arrested de facto leader Aung San Suu Ky, the president and members of parliament in dawn raids on Monday.

US Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken condemned the reports in a statement released overnight, and called for the military to 'reverse these actions immediately'.

The generals struck amid fears that Suu Kyi would use her new mandate - which saw her humiliate military-backed parties at a vote held last year - to reform the constitution and remove their strangle-hold on power.

Military leaders, who claim the vote was fraudulent, have now declared a year-long state of emergency, appointed Vice President Myint Swe - a former general - as acting president, and closed all banks until further notice.

'The United States expresses grave concern and alarm regarding reports that the Burmese military has detained multiple civilian government leaders, including State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi, and civil society leaders,' the statement said.

'We call on Burmese military leaders to release all government officials and civil society leaders and respect the will of the people of Burma as expressed in democratic elections on November 8. The United States stands with the people of Burma in their aspirations for democracy, freedom, peace, and development.'

All government functions have been transferred to Senior General Min Aung Hlaing to 'guarantee national stability' until fresh elections can be held, the military said via its own TV channel after state TV went off air, while promising the vote would take place within a year.

The NLD released a statement they said had been written by Suu Kyi before her arrest, which called for people 'to protest against the coup' while warning that generals want to 'put the country back under a dictatorship'.

Along with the US, the UK, Japan and Australia were among those condemning the coup early Monday, with British Prime Minister Boris Johnson saying: 'The vote of the people must be respected and civilian leaders released.'

China - which has been a long-term supporter of the military - urged all sides to 'resolve their differences… to protect political and social stability'.

India Farmers’ Protests: Internet Shutdown Highlights Modi’s Record of Stifling Digital Dissent

The storming of the Red Fort in Delhi on January 26 marked an escalation of tensions between the Indian government – led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi – and farmers who have been protesting against agricultural reforms since August 2020.

With footage of the farmers clashing with police going viral, the Red Fort incident also marked a spike in interest in the farmers’ movement around the world, much to Modi’s embarrassment.

The authorities’ response to events at the Red Fort – a historic building symbolic of Indian independence, and located in the very heart of Old Delhi – was swift. Delhi Police shut down the city’s internet, affecting more than 52 million mobile phone subscribers. The shutdown was ostensibly in the interest of public safety, but it’s also the latest episode in India’s long-running story of heavy-handed internet crackdowns – a strategy used time and again to quell swelling protest movements.

India’s control over the internet is comparable to some of the world’s most authoritarian countries. While India ranks second in the world in terms of mobile internet subscribers, the country also leads in shutdowns. They’re used with alarming regularity to disrupt protest movements and – in the case of Kashmir, currently under the world’s longest internet shutdown – to control entire populations.

During the Citizen Act protests last year, shutdowns were used in Aligarh – home to the Aligarh Muslim University – one of the hubs of the protests, where severe police brutality is alleged to have taken place. The Indian government implemented more than 106 internet shutdowns in 2019 alone – the vast majority in response to protests.

This control is largely achieved via the Temporary Suspension of Telecom Services (Public Emergency or Public Safety) Rules, passed into law in 2017, which expanded the government’s powers for surveillance and connectivity suspension, empowering it to control dissent and opposition.

In Kashmir, where there are tight restrictions on the rights to free expression, speech and assembly, internet shutdowns function as an “invisibility cloak” to crack down on dissent and isolate Kashmiris from the rest of the world. Because India’s supreme court has ruled that “indefinite internet shutdowns” are illegal, India’s government instead downgrades or “throttles” Kashmir’s mobile connectivity from 4G to 2G, seriously limiting what can be loaded on phones.

Tractors and tear gas

The recent events at the Red Fort also presented an example of India’s disinformation ecosystem. At a pivotal moment, some protesters raised a flag sacred to Sikhs next to the Indian flag, even as movement leaders pleaded with them to climb down. Hundreds of cameras caught the moment the flags where raised, uploading photos to social media.

These images were immediately seized upon by social media influencers loyal to Modi, who began a disinformation campaign which spread across the country, claiming the flag to be that of Khalistani separatists. In Modi’s India, separatists are often depicted as enemies of the state. Disinformation spreads particularly quickly in India, where mobile internet packages make it cheaper to access social media than to run a Google search. This lack of “net neutrality” – favouring traffic to certain websites over others – discourages users from fact-checking what they see on social media.

Tunisia: Ex-president says country witnessing struggle for power

Former Tunisian President Moncef Marzouki has criticised what he considered to be a "fight for power" in the country between the president and the parliament, warning that this would negatively affect the country's stability.

In a post on Facebook, Marzouki commented on Parliament Speaker Rached Ghannouchi's remarks that the country's president's role is "symbolic", saying: "So, the Parliament Speaker considers that we are in a parliamentary system and the president of the republic elected by the people is just a symbol!"

"So the President of the Republic also sees that the political system is dysfunctional and that he has the right to intervene with the formation and functioning of the government, in addition to saying that the parliament is the problem and it is not representing the people who assume the responsibility for their choices."

Marzouki added: "The most terrible aspect about the situation is not faking ignorance of the provisions of the constitution, but rather the disregard for its content as the only document that is discussed, disputed, and accepted by the representatives of the people for the first time in our history, and that it was accepted as a compromise between the different parties, as is always the case in a pluralist society, in order to avoid tyranny."

Tunisia is witnessing a political and constitutional crisis, as President Kais Saied refuses to allow newly-appointed government members to swear their oath of office, justifying his decision using the suspicions of corruption which have surrounded some ministers.

Many believe that the new ministers are unable to start work before taking the oath of office before the president, while others believe they can assume their duties as they have the trust of parliament.

Why Gen. Mark Milley Will Probably Keep His Job as Joint Chiefs Chairman

When he became commander in chief, President Joe Biden wasted no time replacing the military service secretaries and acting head of the Defense Department. If he wanted, he could also name a replacement for Joint Chiefs Chairman Army Gen. Mark Milley, who came under scrutiny under President Donald Trump for participating in a politically loaded photo op.

But Milley's likely to keep his spot – and experts say it would be bad for the nation if he doesn't.

It's unlikely there will be a shake-up to the Joint Chiefs, The Associated Press reported last month, though an unnamed Pentagon official told the Responsible Statecraft, a publication of the Quincy Institute think tank, that Milley could be asked to retire early so that newly minted Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Charles "CQ" Brown, the first black service chief, could step into the role.

Any sort of change to the Joint Chiefs no matter the reason "is a terrible idea," said Kori Schake, director of foreign and defense policy studies at the American Enterprise Institute and former national security official in the George W. Bush administration.

"Having violated one of the central norms of civil-military relations by appointing a recently retired general officer as the secretary of defense, this would violate a second civil-military norm," Schake said, referring to Lloyd Austin, a retired Army four-star general who was confirmed last month to be the nation's first Black defense secretary. But first he needed a congressional waiver to allow him to serve in the role because of a rule stipulating that nominees must have been out of the military for at least seven years.

High-ranking officers have been shown the door before, including Gen. Douglas MacArthur, removed as head of the United Nations Command during the Korean War; Adm. George Whelan Anderson Jr., who was forced to take early retirement after serving as chief of naval operations during the Cuban Missile Crisis; and Gen. Stanley McChrystal, who served as commander of U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan from 2009 to 2010 but was dismissed after making unflattering remarks against then-Vice President Biden in Rolling Stone magazine.

But removing a sitting chairman would be highly unusual, said Richard Kohn, a professor at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill specializing in American military history, national security, and military policy and strategy.

"The only comparable thing would be Gen. Peter Pace in 2007 when he was not renewed for a second … term," Kohn said. Then-Defense Secretary Robert Gates recommended that Pace, the first Marine Corps general appointed to the chairman position, not serve a follow-on term, citing a lack of Senate support.

At the time, Pace's critics said he was too compliant and ineffective on military matters involving the Iraq war, according to an NPR report. But his supporters blamed former SecDef Donald Rumsfeld for neglecting to fashion a new counterinsurgency strategy, which put Pace on an irrecoverable path, NPR said.

Milley has admitted that accompanying then-President Trump through Lafayette Square park to St. John's Church on June 1, 2020, was a mistake.

The event, which came after authorities used pepper spray and flashbangs to clear the park and streets of largely peaceful protesters, prompted him to issue an apology days later, saying, "I should not have been there."

Before taking office, Biden criticized Trump's politicization of the military.

Judge Orders Trump Organization to Hand Over Documents to New York Attorney General

A judge in New York has ordered the attorneys of the Trump Organization to give unprivileged documents to the states Attorney General by February 4th in the latest bullying of the judicial system against the Trump family.

The order came down on Friday as part of New York AG Letitia James supposed broader investigation into whether Trump illegally altered the value of his assets, an allegation which surfaced from Michael Cohen his former attorney back in 2019.

The states’s Supreme Court reviewed the documents submitted by the firm of Morgan, Lewis, and Bokius LLP.

“Morgan Lewis is hereby ordered to produce to petitioner, by February 4, 2021, all documents marked ‘not privileged’ by this court in the privilege log being emailed today under separate cover to all parties,” read Friday’s order from Judge Arthur Engoron.

“Once again, justice and the rule of law prevailed,” James said at the time. “We will immediately move to ensure that the Trump Organization complies with the court’s order and submits records related to our investigation. My office’s ongoing investigation will continue, as we continue to follow the facts wherever they may lead.”

James had also subpoenaed Eric Trump, the former president’s son, and Engoron backed her in a decision from September.

Biden condemns military coup in Burma

President Biden condemned the use of force to suppress democracy in a statement against the military coup in Burma that took place early Monday morning, calling for a review of U.S. sanctions policy and a coordinated response by the international community.

The president in a statement condemned the Burmese military’s arrest of Aung San Suu Kyi, the leader of the National League for Democracy, and other civilian government officials, and spoke out against the military imposing a state of emergency and grabbing power for one year.

“The military’s seizure of power in Burma, the detention of Aung San Suu Kyi and other civilian officials, and the declaration of a national state of emergency are a direct assault on the country’s transition to democracy and the rule of law,” the president said in a statement.

The arrests of NLD leaders came as the civilian government was set to open the first parliamentary session Monday following the party’s majority victory in the November elections.

The military has criticized the elections as fraudulent, a charge rejected by the country's election commission. The elections were viewed as a hard-won victory for Burma's transition to democracy after decades of military rule.

The president condemned the use of force to interfere in the democratic process.

“In a democracy, force should never seek to overrule the will of the people or attempt to erase the outcome of a credible election,” Biden said.

The president said the international community should work together to support a “restoration of democracy and the rule of law” and issue a coordinated call for Burma’s military to “immediately relinquish the power they have seized, release the activists and officials they have detained, lift all telecommunications restrictions, and refrain from violence against civilians.”

Biden further called on actions against those who are responsible for the coup, and that the U.S. would review its sanctions policy towards Burma if backsliding on democracy was not reversed.

“The United States removed sanctions on Burma over the past decade based on progress toward democracy. The reversal of that progress will necessitate an immediate review of our sanction laws and authorities, followed by appropriate action,” the president said.

“The United States will stand up for democracy wherever it is under attack.”

Kushner Nominated for Nobel Peace Prize

Former Trump-administration official Jared Kushner and his top aide Avi Berkowitz received nominations for the Nobel Peace Prize for their role in securing the Abraham Accords last summer.

Kushner and his team played a lead role in mediating negotiations between Israel and the United Arab Emirates that led to normalization of relations between the two countries. Former U.S. ambassador to Israel David Friedman and his Israeli counterpart Ron Dermer were also nominated.

Harvard Law School professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz nominated the former White House staffers in a letter reported by Reuters on Sunday. Dershowitz’s letter noted the "enormous" role played by the American delegation in achieving normalization between the UAE and Israel.

In his letter, Dershowitz emphasized "the enormous contributions to peace made by Jared Kushner, Avrahm Berkowitz, David Friedman and Ron Dermer."

"These men played especially important roles," Dershowitz said. "[The accords] hold the promise of an even broader peace in the Middle East between Israel, the Palestinians, and other Arab nations. They are a giant step forward in bringing peace and stability to the region, and even to the world."

Gulf states are still feeling the wide-ranging impacts of the new peace brokered by the Trump administration. Israel and the UAE continue to strengthen commercial and diplomatic ties, and Bahrain also normalized ties to Israel following the Abraham Accords. Iran, meanwhile, has lost leverage with Gulf partners since the agreement.

The Biden administration appears prepared to upend some of the diplomatic progress made in Middle Eastern affairs. Last week, President Joe Biden halted the sale of F-35 fighter jets to UAE, a sale previously endorsed by Israel. Biden also appointed Robert Malley as Iran envoy last week. How Big Pharma Pursues ‘Killer Profits’ at Americans’ Expense

“Instead of spending on innovation, Big Pharma is hoarding its money for salaries and dividends,” the report says, “all while swallowing smaller companies, thus making the marketplace far less competitive.”

Rep. Katie Porter (D-CA) on Friday published a damning report revealing the devastating effects of Big Pharma mergers and acquisitions on U.S. healthcare, and recommending steps Congress should take to enact “comprehensive, urgent reform” of an integral part of a broken healthcare system.

The report, entitled “Killer Profits: How Big Pharma Takeovers Destroy Innovation and Harm Patients,” begins by noting that “in just 10 years, the number of large, international pharmaceutical companies decreased six-fold, from 60 to only 10.”

While pharmaceutical executives often attempt to portray such consolidation as a means to increase operational efficiency, the report states that “digging a level deeper ‘exposes a troubling industry-wide trend of billions of dollars of corporate resources going toward acquiring other pharmaceutical corporations with patent-protected blockbuster drugs instead of putting those resources toward’ discovery of new drugs.”

Merger and acquisition (M&A) deals are often executed to “boost stock prices,” to “stop competitors,” and to “acquire an innovative blockbuster drug with an enormous prospective revenue stream.”

“Instead of spending on innovation, Big Pharma is hoarding its money for salaries and dividends,” the report says, “all while swallowing smaller companies, thus making the marketplace far less competitive.”

The report calls M&As “just the tip of the iceberg of pharmaceutical companies’ anti-competitive, profit-driven behaviors”:

Pharmaceutical companies often claim that lowering the prices of prescription drugs in the United States would devastate innovation. Yet, as prices have skyrocketed over the last few decades, these same companies’ investment in research and development have failed to match this same pace. Instead, they’ve dedicated more and more of their funds to enrich shareholders or to purchase other companies to eliminate competition.

“In 2018, the year that [former President] Donald Trump’s tax giveaway to the wealthy went into effect, 12 of the biggest pharmaceutical companies spent more money on stock buybacks than on research and development,” the report notes.

Congressional War Vets Warn Biden Against Shuttering Gitmo

A group of Republican war veterans in Congress are pressuring the Biden administration to reconsider its plans to shut down the Guantanamo Bay prison and relocate, potentially to the United States, the 40 terrorists currently being held in the facility.

"As veterans of the Global War on Terrorism, we have serious reservations about the Biden administration’s push to close the Guantanamo Bay Detention Camp," the nine GOP lawmakers wrote in a letter sent Sunday night to newly installed Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin.

The Biden administration has been under pressure by antiwar activists to shutter the prison camp located at the U.S. naval station in Cuba. Biden has pledged to do just that, but has not explained how he will continue the prosecution of 40 terrorist leaders who still remain imprisoned, including the masterminds of the 9/11 terror attacks. Opponents of the closure warn that nearly 35 percent of the terrorists released from Gitmo have returned to the battlefield, where they continue to mobilize against U.S. and coalition forces in the region.

Representative Michael Waltz (R., Fla.), the first Green Beret to serve in Congress, and a group of eight other war veterans serving in Congress called the Biden administration’s efforts to shutter Gitmo dangerous and raised questions about a plan that they say could put dangerous terrorists back on the battlefield, according to a copy of the letter obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

"Many of us put our lives on the line to prevent these terrorists from ever returning to the battlefield. Some of us even sustained permanent wounds," wrote the lawmakers, which include Waltz and Reps. Jim Banks (R., Ind.), Steve Stivers (R. Ohio), Brad Wenstrup (R., Ohio), Ronny Jackson (R., Texas), Andrew Clyde (R., Ga.), Tony Gonzales (R., Texas), Guy Reschenthaler (R., Pa.), and Van Taylor (R., Texas). "Without law of war detention, we could be forced to release these dangerous individuals, allowing them to re-establish their networks and jeopardize American national security interests, along with the security interests of our allies."

The lawmakers warn the Biden administration against relocating these terrorists stateside, saying there "is no acceptable reason to bring terrorists to the homeland" and risk them being released on legal technicalities by an American court. Most of the terrorists being held at Gitmo were caught on the battlefield and likely could not be prosecuted by a typical court in the United States.

"It would be a mistake to risk acquittal of a known terrorist because of a prosecutorial error, a technicality, or a miscellaneous legal loophole," they wrote.

The Obama administration abandoned its bid to close Gitmo over concerns the terrorists would return to the battlefield and kill Americans. Most of the 40 detainees imprisoned in Gitmo have extensive weapons, explosives, and battlefield training.

Waltz, in an interview with the Free Beacon, said, "those that remain are the most hardened, the most unrepentant, and the most dangerous."

"These are the field generals, these are recruiters, the funders, the trainers, these are the enablers," he said. "This isn’t just one terrorist you’re releasing; this is someone who can create thousands and train thousands and fund thousands."
