The Chinese government may have stolen personal data from 80% of American adults, according to a “60 Minutes” report.

Bill Evanina, former director of the U.S. National Counterintelligence and Security Center, on Sunday appeared on CBS’ 60 Minutes when he warned that Beijing is attempting to collect and exploit Americans’ health care information, including their DNA.

According to the intelligence official, BGI Group — the world’s largest biotech firm — approached Washington and five other states with offers to build and run state-of-the-art coronavirus testing labs. The Chinese firm also promised to “provide technical expertise, high throughput sequences” and “make additional donations” to the states.

The offer raised suspicions, prompting Evanina to issue warnings to the states against taking up BGI Group’s proposal.

“Foreign powers can collect, store and exploit biometric information from covid tests,” the advisory read. “Knowing that BGI is a Chinese company, do we understand where that data’s going?”

Evanina also claimed that China used “less-than-honorable” methods to steal data from foreign countries, including hacking health care companies and technology — such as smart homes, sensors and 5G networks—in the U.S. to collect Americans’ personal data.

“Current estimates are that 80% of American adults have had all of their personally identifiable information stolen by the Communist Party of China,” he said.

The information collected from various technology, when combined with a person’s biodata, can be used to bypass doctors and help Chinese companies create a monopoly over treatments and medicine that could improve a person’s health.

The same system has allegedly been used by Chinese authorities to identify and suppress the Uighur Muslims. Under the guise of free check-ups, Chinese officials are collecting DNA that could help them target other family members and improve their facial recognition software.

In July 2020, the U.S. Department of Commerce sanctioned two Chinese subsidiaries of BGI Group for its involvement in the repression of the Uighurs.

Facebook CEO Zuckerberg Praised Biden’s Executive Orders: Leaked Video

Newly leaked video from an internal Facebook meeting shows CEO Mark Zuckerberg praising executive orders issued by President Joe Biden in his first day in office.

“I thought President Biden’s inaugural address was very good,” Zuckerberg said in the Jan. 21 meeting.

“In his first day, President Biden already issued a number of Executive Orders on areas that we as a company care quite deeply about and have for some time,” he added. “Areas like immigration, preserving DACA, ending restrictions on travel from Muslim-majority countries, as well as other Executive Orders on climate and advancing racial justice and equity. I think these were all important and positive steps.”

Biden issued a record number of executive orders in his first days in office as he strove to reverse actions taken by former President Donald Trump.

The video was leaked to Project Veritas, a nonprofit watchdog, by someone the group described as a Facebook insider.

The group also leaked a clip of Zuckerberg disparaging Trump at a Jan. 7 meeting.

“It’s so important that our political leaders lead by example, make sure we put the nation first here, and what we’ve seen is that the president has been doing the opposite of that,” Zuckerberg said at the time. “The president intends to use his remaining time in office to undermine the peaceful and lawful transition of power.”

“His decision to use his platform to condone rather than condemn the actions of his supporters in the Capitol I think has rightly bothered and disturbed people in the U.S. and around the world,” he added.

Trump gave a speech on Jan. 6 as protesters turned violent at the U.S. Capitol about two miles away. Trump told supporters to go to the building but urged them to remain peaceful. After protesters stormed the Capital, he released videos asking them to leave and condemned the violence.

Facebook didn’t respond to a request for comment. The social media company took a number of punitive actions against Trump in the lead-up to the November 2020 election and ultimately banned him from its website, claiming he was condoning rather than condemning the actions of his supporters. Facebook appeared to take no action against Biden, despite the Democrat issuing a number of misleading posts before and after the election.

"If you look at the larger picture, the Russia hoaxers, the people that were pushing this out from the very beginning and lying about it after the fact, they're all at the top echelons of the Biden administration," former House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) said Sunday.

During an appearance on Fox News' Sunday show hosted by Maria Bartiromo, Nunes took issue with Hodgman's appointment as acting chief of the SEC enforcement division, saying while she "could be a great public servant," it created the appearance of a Democratic payback to her husband for pursuing Trump.

"Looks like Peter Strozk is actually going to get reimbursed for all of his troubles," Nunes said. "The guy lost his job, but nothing's happened to him at this point."

Hodgman has worked her way up the career SEC enforcement staff over the last 12 years and praised her staff after her appointment was announced.

"I am constantly inspired by the dedication of my colleagues in the Division and across the Commission, especially with the challenges of the last year," she said. "I look forward to continuing my work with them in the role of Acting Director and supporting the Commission's mission."

Blinken: Iran could be weeks away from enough nuclear material for bomb

Blinken said that the administration would consider new sanctions against North Korea as well as other possible actions against Russia.

Iran could be “weeks away” from having sufficient material to develop a nuclear weapon if it continues to violate the 2015 nuclear deal, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken warned on Monday in an interview with NBC News.

Blinken said that President Joe Biden’s administration would consider new sanctions against North Korea as well as other possible actions against Russia. It was the new secretary’s first television interview since taking office last week.

He told NBC it could be only “a matter of weeks” if Iran continues to lift restraints in the JCPOA that the United States pulled out of under president Donald Trump.

According to NBC, when pressed about whether the release of detained Americans would be an absolute condition for an expanded nuclear treaty, he did not commit.

“Irrespective of… any deal, those Americans need to be released. Period,” he told the network. “We’re going to focus on making sure that they come home one way or another.”

On Sunday, Iran rejected any new negotiations or changes to the participants in Tehran’s nuclear deal with world powers, after French President Emmanuel Macron said new talks should include Saudi Arabia.

The remarks came after the White House confirmed that veteran diplomat Robert Malley was named special US envoy for Iran. A key member of former president Barack Obama’s nuclear negotiating team, Malley is a controversial figure in Israel, where he is viewed as soft on Tehran and tough on Jerusalem.

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh was quoted by state media on Saturday as saying: “The nuclear accord is a multilateral international agreement ratified by UN Security Council Resolution 2231 that is non-negotiable, and parties to it are clear and unchangeable.”

Biden’s new administration has said it would rejoin the deal, which the Trump administration exited in 2018, but only after Tehran resumes full compliance with its terms.

“It is clear the Iranians are playing hardball, which is why the pressure on them cannot let up,” said an Israeli official. “There’s only a hope the Iranians will compromise if they believe that’s the only way the pressure will be lifted. If pressure is lifted prematurely, one can expect no concessions from the Iranians whatsoever.”

During his confirmation hearings, Blinken said the Biden administration would consult with its allies in the Middle East, including Israel, before engaging in talks with Iran. Israeli officials have expressed hope that this means there will be a positive dialogue moving forward, and emphasized the need to completely stop Iran’s nuclear program.

Ex-Salvadoran FIFA Official Extradited to the US

El Salvador extradited on Friday the former chief of its football federation to the United States where he is facing racketeering, wire fraud and money laundering conspiracy charges related to the massive FIFA corruption scandal.

He faces a max penalty of 20 years in prison.

According to a 2015 indictment, he was part of a larger group of FIFA officials who took part in “a 24-year scheme to enrich themselves through the corruption of international soccer.”

The Associated Press reported that Vasquez made a remote appearance in front of the Brooklyn Federal court on Friday and pleaded not guilty to racketeering conspiracy charges.

Vasquez was sentenced to eight years in jail for embezzlement of social contributions in El Salvador in March 2017.

In October 2019, FIFA banned Vasquez for life from taking part in any football-related activity after finding him guilty of bribery. He was fined CHF 500,000 (US$502,000, at that time).

He is scheduled to appear in the New York Court court on April 7.

The videos in question were reportedly filmed in 2012. On the tape, Ashurkov asks his British friend for money in exchange for de-facto treason of his country.

ISIS Attacks Popular Mobilization Units As Iraqi Sources Blame U.S. For Airlifting Terrorists

On January 31, the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) announced that they have repelled an ISIS attack in the region of Jurf al-Sakhar in the province of Babil. According to the statement, the attack was repelled by the Al-Jazirah Operation Headquarters Command.

The incident took place as pro-Iranian sources blame the US for assisting ISIS in its operations against the PMU.

Sabah al-Akili told al-Maloumeh news website on January 31 that the US military airlifts ISIS units to areas behind PMU positions in Jurf al-Sakhar region.

“The strategic military goal of the US forces is to cause division in Jurf al-Sakhar in order to create a threat to nearby provinces and to invent a pretext for American forces to stay in Iraq,” he said.

Al-Akili claimed that the move is designed to provide a justification for the Iraqi government to ask the US troops to remain in the Arab country.

“Foreign and [Iraqi] political parties, backed by the US, are doing their utmost to drive the Hashd al-Sha’abi (PMU) forces out of Jurf al-Sakhar, which connects the provinces of Babil, al-Anbar and Baghdad via the holy [city of] Karbala,” he added.

Meanwhile, another convoy of the US-led coalition was attacked by local resistance groups. The logistics support convoy was targeted in the central Iraqi province of Babil. Qasim Al-Jabbarin group claimed responsibility for the attack. An explosion of improvised explosive device allegedly led to no casualties.

A Key Player in Malaysia's Biggest-Ever Corruption Scandal Found Sanctuary in Cyprus With Help From a Major London Firm

Despite public denials, well-known citizenship broker Henley & Partners helped disgraced financier Jho Low, who stands accused of stealing billions from Malaysian sovereign wealth fund 1MDB, obtain a passport from Cyprus.

Key Findings

Henley & Partners identified Jho Low as a high-risk client with political exposure, but worked with him anyway, using a Cypriot company as an intermediary.

Henley made 60,000 euros from a citizenship fee paid via this company, and far more — 650,000 euros — from helping arrange a real estate deal for Low to purchase a luxury seaside villa.

Shell companies and nominee service providers helped obscure Low’s real estate deal.

Several Low associates also applied for Cypriot citizenship around the same time, and publicly available documents suggest that they bought villas near his.

Jho Taek Low had billions of dollars, but he was running out of places to put them.

By 2015, the Malaysian financier had become the face of the now-infamous 1MDB embezzlement scandal. His theft of billions from Malaysia’s sovereign wealth fund had been widely reported. So had the trail of splashy purchases he made around the world: a transparent grand piano for supermodel Miranda Kerr, a New York City penthouse once owned by Jay-Z, a $6-million emerald green soup can painted by Andy Warhol, an entire hotel in Beverly Hills.

Banks were increasingly wary of him. So were governments. He was under investigation by law enforcement in Singapore and Switzerland. U.S. authorities were closing in, too. He needed a safe refuge for both himself and his money.

To solve these problems, Low turned to the sunny eastern Mediterranean island of Cyprus, where, with a view to establishing a new financial foothold, he purchased citizenship in 2015 under the country’s controversial “golden passport” scheme.

Technically known as Citizenship By Investment, the program was meant to attract wealthy foreigners seeking European Union passports. But in the eyes of critics, its main effect was to make Cyprus a go-to destination for kleptocrats and criminals who want to pay their way into the bloc. It also proved lucrative for a small army of lawyers and financial service providers who greased the wheels.

The program was ditched last October after a damning investigation by Al Jazeera exposed local politicians offering to help a fictitious Chinese criminal get citizenship. The circumstances under which Low received his golden passport are under scrutiny by Cypriot authorities.

Now, an investigation by OCCRP and the Sarawak Report can reveal previously undisclosed details about how Low obtained Cypriot citizenship — and who helped him do it.

Though his connection to one of the world’s biggest thefts of public funds had already been widely exposed, he was able to hire London-based Henley & Partners, perhaps the world’s best-known passport brokerage firm, to provide him with citizenship services.

Michael Osterholm said the UK variant will soon wreak havoc on the US

A top infectious disease expert warned Sunday that the worst of the coronavirus pandemic may still be to come.

Michael Osterholm — who serves as director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota and formerly served as a member on the Biden transition team's COVID-19 advisory board — compared the incoming disaster to that of a "Category 5" hurricane forming offshore and heading for the United States.

What did he say?

Osterholm told NBC's Chuck Todd on "Meet the Press" Sunday that he expects the new faster-spreading coronavirus variant first discovered in United Kingdom to sweep through the U.S. starting between six and 14 weeks from now.

If that happens, "we are going to see something like we have not seen yet in this country," he said.

"England, for example, is hospitalizing twice as many people as we ever hospitalized at our highest number," he added.

In order to prevent a new surge of cases that could overload America's health system, Olsterholm suggested calling an "audible" on vaccine distribution. Instead of administering second doses, he said, we should be rapidly administering first doses to the elderly and other people in high-risk categories who have yet to receive the vaccine.

Though he warned it won't be easy to change course now, with many starting to embrace a post-pandemic world.

"Imagine where we're at, Chuck, right now: You and I are sitting on this beach where it's 70 degrees, perfectly blue skies, gentle breeze. But I see that hurricane … Category 5 or higher, 450 miles offshore," he said. "And telling people to evacuate in that nice blue sky day is gonna be hard. But I can also tell you that hurricane's coming."

What else?

Should the surge not be contained, Osterholm anticipated that lockdown measures — such as those experienced in places like New York and California, until recently — would be reinstated.

"What we have to do now is also anticipate this and understand that we're going to have to change quickly," he said. "As fast as we're opening restaurants, we're likely to be closing them in the near term."

The only good news, it seems, according to Olsterholm, is that the variant, known as B.1.1.7 is not believed to be resistant to vaccination. Though it may lead to more serious illness.

"Fortunately, that one has not shown its ability to evade the protection from the vaccine," he continued. "But its ability to cause many more infections and much more serious illness is there."

Court Fines Navalny’s Wife After Protests in Moscow

MOSCOW—A Moscow court on Monday ordered the wife of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny to pay a fine of 20,000 rubles ($265) for violating protest regulations after she attended a demonstration in the Russian capital to demand his release.

Tens of thousands protested across Russia’s 11 time zones on Sunday, chanting slogans against Russian President Vladimir Putin and demanding that authorities free Navalny, who was jailed last month and faces a prison term. Over 5,400 protesters were detained by authorities, one group said.

While Russia’s state-run media dismissed the demonstrations as small and claimed that they showed the opposition’s failure, Navalny’s team said the turnout on Sunday demonstrated “overwhelming nationwide support” for the Kremlin’s fiercest critic.

Navalny’s allies have called for another demonstration in Moscow on Tuesday, when a court is scheduled to hear the authorities’ motion to send him to prison for up to 3 1/2 years.

His wife, Yulia Navalnaya, joined a protest in Moscow on Sunday that took place despite unprecedented security measures that city authorities took ahead of the rally. She was quickly detained and charged with participating in an unauthorized rally. A court on Monday ordered Navalnaya to pay a fine, her lawyer Svetlana Davydova told the Interfax news agency. Davydova said the defense plans to appeal the ruling.

In the largest outpouring of discontent Russia had seen in years, mass protests engulfed dozens of Russian cities for the second weekend in a row despite efforts by Russian authorities to stifle the unrest triggered by the jailing of 44-year-old Navalny, Putin’s most well-known foe.

Navalny was arrested Jan. 17 upon his return from Germany, where he spent five months recovering from nerve-agent poisoning that he blames on the Kremlin. Russian authorities have rejected the accusations. He faces a prison term for alleged probation violations from a 2014 money-laundering conviction which has been widely seen as politically motivated.

After his arrest, Navalny’s team released a two-hour YouTube video about an opulent Black Sea residence purportedly built for Putin. The video has been viewed over 100 million times, further stoking Russians’ discontent amid an economic downturn.

The rallies following Navalny’s arrest appear to have rattled the Kremlin. In an effort to quell the protests, the authorities have jailed Navalny’s associates and activists across the country. His brother Oleg, top ally Lyubov Sobol and three other people were put under a two-month house arrest and face criminal charges.

A total of 40 criminal probes have been opened in 18 Russian regions in connection to the protests, said Pavel Chikov, head of the human rights organization Agora.

A reporter asked White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki if Trump’s absence from social media platforms makes COVID relief negotiations easier.

What kind of question is that?

“This may be hard to believe but we don’t spend a lot of time talking about or thinking about President Trump here,” Psaki said. “Former President Trump, to be very clear.”

When asked if Biden supports the continued ban of Trump from social media, Psaki said the Biden White House supports “the need for social media platforms to continue to take steps to reduce hate speech.”

There is no such thing as “hate speech” and the US Supreme Court has reaffirmed this many times.

All speech is protected under the 1st Amendment, but the Biden White House openly admits it is working with Big Tech to censor and ban conservatives under the guise of ‘reducing hate speech.’

Contested NY-22 election nears resolution, with the Republican leading by 122 votes

The 2020 election isn't over yet.

Though today is Feb. 1, 2021, the 2020 U.S. election has yet to be fully resolved, as the race in New York's 22nd Congressional District remains unresolved.

Republican Claudia Tenney currently holds a 122-vote lead over Democratic candidate Anthony Brindisi after state Supreme Court Justice Scott DelConte on Friday ruled which votes should be counted and which should be rejected in the disputed race, WSYR-TV reports.

Prior to Friday's ruling, Tenney led Brindisi by only 29 votes. But the Brindisi campaign had argued in court that 69 ballots from Oneida County that were not counted should have been. These ballots were from voters who registered to vote with the DMV by the deadline to do so, but did not appear in records on Election Day, requiring them to fill out an affidavit ballot. The Oneida County Board of Elections did not process these registrations, and the votes were not counted.

The Brindisi campaign wanted only 69 ballots to be counted; however, state Supreme Court Justice Scott DelConte ordered every ballot that was rejected on these grounds to be counted, not just the ones Brindisi's campaign brought forward. The result was 139 new votes counted for Brindisi and 232 new votes for Tenney, expanding Tenney's lead to 122 votes.

Justice DelConte also ruled Friday that hundreds of affidavit/provisional ballots the Brindisi campaign wants counted should not be considered. These discounted votes include 128 ballots from voters who dropped ballots off at the wrong polling place, 20 ballots cast in the wrong county, and 85 ballots cast by so-called "purged voters," people who were previously registered to vote but were inactive voters for so long that they were removed from registration lists.

"Despite the severity of the transgressions that have been uncovered in this proceeding, including multiple violations of state and federal Election Law, this Court has no authority to grant any other relief," DelConte wrote in his opinion.

On Monday, local boards of elections from the 22nd District returned to court to make their final vote counts official before certifying the results of the election on Tuesday. The Brindisi campaign, however, has vowed to appeal the state Supreme Court decision (in New York, the Supreme Courts are appellate courts and the Court of Appeals is the state's highest court).

"The integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of this process has always been the Brindisi campaign's priority. With ballots still to be counted as part of the initial count and pending appeals from both parties, it is important not to rush to judgment. We are hopeful that once all the legal ballots are counted, Anthony will be certified the winner," a spokesman for the Brindisi campaign said Friday night.

The Democratic campaign filed paperwork Monday to delay the court-ordered certification of the vote.

"Substantial errors and irregularities in the conduct of the election have come to light. As these proceedings have continued, that evidence has only mounted. … As a result, a hand audit is warranted under New York law and should be immediately ordered," the campaign said in court documents.

WSYR-TV however reported that Tenney's lead is likely insurmountable.

On SUnday the leaders of Myanmar were arrested by the nation’s military for allegedly committing massive vote fraud during the November 2020 elections.

Myanmar’s State Counsellor Aung San Suu Kyi and President Win Myint were both arrested in morning raids on Monday by the nation’s armed forces, after widespread allegations that they had committed election fraud.

As reported by the BBC – The army alleged the recent landslide election win by Ms Suu Kyi’s party was marred by fraud. Aung San Suu Kyi told supporters in a letter that the military’s actions would put the country back under a dictatorship.

The Joe Biden White House was OUTRAGED that the military would take over based on voter fraud allegations from November.

Especially after “the media” said there was no fraud.

Governing Elites Are Destroying the Nation They're Supposed to Run

A friend of American Thinker, understandably upset about the unraveling of America around us, reached out with a heartfelt question: how did we as a society come to behave so acrimoniously toward one another?

The two words that stood out to me while turning this question over in my mind were "we" and "society." Who "we" are as Americans has changed radically over the last half-century, and during that time, the political sphere in America has eaten away and destroyed the independence of the civic sphere we traditionally call "society."

Consider these facts:

Before Ted Kennedy's 1965 Immigration and Nationality Act, nine tenths of all new immigrants to America came from Europe; after the act's passage, nine tenths of new immigrants have come from Latin America, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.

Since the 1965 Act's passage, over sixty million new immigrants have arrived in the United States, and over a hundred million more are expected over the next half century.

In 1970, 4.7% of the American population was born outside of the United States; in 2017, 13.7% of the national population was born in a foreign country.

These are obviously transformative demographic shifts. In an open society unafraid of debate, we would weigh the benefits of these changes against the dangers they present to national cohesion and stability. Instead, and no doubt because Kennedy's immigration law has done more to stave off death for the Democratic Party than any other variable over the last half-century, America's political and business elites have weaponized censorship and political correctness to portray even the mentioning of unchecked immigration's harms as something taboo. So who "we" are as Americans continues to radically change, but any person reasonable enough to point that out is branded a xenophobe.

Let me add a fourth fact:

Eighty-four percent of Americans born between 1928 and 1945 identify as Christians, and 50% of them still attend religious services at least once a week. In contrast, less than half of millennial Americans today identify as Christian, and 64% rarely, if at all, attend any kind of religious service.

At the same time as "we" have been rewritten, the civic "society" has been weakened. Americans have traditionally distinguished the civil sphere from the political sphere. In this way, government is maintained to guard against man's worst impulses, but society is formed among to create benefits beyond each individual's limitations. And Americans have always had, until recently, numerous civic engagements and bonds that strengthened society while having nothing to do with politics. In simple parlance, we call this "community."

The generation of Americans who survived the Great Depression and WWII not only attended church and actively participated in community town halls, but also belonged to veterans' organizations; Kiwanis; Shriners; knitting and quilting groups; bowling and softball leagues; community improvement boards; and book, radio, and nature clubs. All of these civic institutions fostered social bonds and community that had little to nothing to do with government or party politics.

The Beeb’s influence is rising stateside, revealing a hunger for nonpartisan news. America’s own networks should take note.

In July 2020, the BBC released some remarkable numbers: In the previous 12 months, 438 million people had tuned into BBC News, 351 million to the BBC World Service, and 137 million to BBC Global News. All three channels, as well as the BBC’s entertainment channel, had registered double-digit growth. The figures were especially surprising given that, unlike certain U.S. news outlets and online media platforms, “the Beeb” doesn’t rely on polarization as a business model.

The United States, still dealing with the aftermath of years of slanted information, should take note. What the country needs, it may be, is public-service news.

When the BBC—the United Kingdom’s own public-service news organization, which is legally obligated to neutrality—presented the summer 2020 figures, then BBC Director-General Tony Hall explained: “We are without question one of Britain’s strongest and best-known brands, synonymous with quality and accuracy worldwide.” Indeed, that is what its viewers are hungriest for.

One might assume that American viewers are just different. Perhaps they like drama, hyperbole, and confirmation more? Not so. According to a 2020 report by the University of Oxford’s Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, that isn’t necessarily true. Rather, 60 percent of Americans want neutral news. What’s more, 56 percent of Americans find the BBC trustworthy, which makes the BBC the most trusted non-local news organization in America. Americans are also now BBC News’s second-largest international audience, at nearly 50 million. Outside the United Kingdom, only India has more BBC viewers and listeners than the United States.

Polarizers get the headlines, but Americans aren’t so different from many other countries when it comes to wanting facts-based news.

When asked whether they preferred news that shared their point of view, challenged their point of view, or had no point of view, 80 percent of Germans said they prefer neutral news sources, as did 78 percent of Japanese, and 76 percent of Britons. In Denmark, 68 percent preferred neutral news; in Italy, 65 percent; in France, 58 percent; and in Spain, 55 percent.

But even though a majority of Americans want neutral news, they are not getting enough of it. In a recent op-ed, Senator Ben Sasse, a moderate Republican, bewailed this state of affairs, which he labelled America’s junk-food media diet. “The way Americans are consuming and producing news—or what passes for it these days—is driving us mad,” he wrote. “This is not a problem only on the right or only on obscure blogs. The underlying economics that drive Fox News and upstarts such as One America News to cultivate and serve ideologically distinct audiences also drive MSNBC, CNN, and the New York Times. More and more fiercely, media outlets rally their audience behind the latest cause du jour, whether it’s battling supposed election fraud or abolishing local police departments.”

A powerful American hedge fund has been accused of a bizarre form of sexual harassment by a former trader who claims he was encouraged to take female hormones to make him less aggressive.

In an apparent attempt to rebalance the testosterone-driven nature of money-making, Andrew Tong, 37, alleges that a superior at SAC Capital urged him to take drugs to make him a more effeminate, obedient and details-orientated employee.

Connecticut-based SAC has more than $14bn (£6.9bn) of funds under management and is run by one of Wall Street's richest men - the billionaire financier Steve Cohen.
