We tried to smash JP Morgan over Ag back in 2012. That didn't work out. Allegedly the banking cartel had 10 billion oz of Ag in reserve, which they'd spent the best part of 200 years accumulating. That was their strategical ammo store.
Over the last 8 years they've had to continue using it to keep the price of Ag depressed. Sometime last year, they finally ran out. What makes this attack on Ag so interesting is that when the big players demand physical settlement, there's nothing to give.
Ag is not usually mined as a primary product, it is mined as a by product of something else. Available supply is dwindling and it's not profitable to go prospecting for Ag at current prices. It will take 18 months to get any new supply online.
The timing for a run is perfect.
