Fruits are typically meant to be eaten (seeds are included, it's their way to spread).
So I disagree.
Animals don't do that.
Still some animals need to eat other animals to survive, because their body can not process plant intake.
Trees may be sentient, but how exactly does it work? Maybe trees are not even what we think they are, maybe they are part of a way larger life form.
