And what's the etymology of lien than? What does it mean to take out a lien on something. How about to capitalize something? Are we really all capitalists? In what regard. It's always possible double meanings exist. You're absolutely right anon, words do mean things.

Of course anon! However, these days I try very hard not to "Understand" anything. If the wrong person hears that word, they could take it to mean you "stand under" what they say. As in, consenting to a contract they then use to hold power over you. I'm much more comfortable "comprehending" things nowadays. Words hold A LOT of power. It's almost like it's magic!

Very interdasting anon. Are you a linguist? I think you have some important "in-sight" to add to this whole language (long-Gauge?) thing. Some more food for thought: what does "Engle" (english) mean mean in German? were did it really come from? In also find it intriguing that it is close to the word "angle" as in geometry and perhaps even a Freemason connection (Royal Arch)

Regardless, Thank you very much for the history lesson Fren!!!

Glad to hear you're doing better anon. I think one of the biggest reason we are here is to pick each other up when one of us falls, and to inject what we have learned from our own experience into the hive mind. Together we are truly unstoppable.
