Probably decades I would think. Look into Solar Warden. Lots of dis-info out there about it. But I think some of it is accurate. Like that British hacker kid that hacked NASA in the early 2000's and discovered a list of "Off-World" personnel. Govt. didn't prosecute for fear of too much public exposure so they quietly buried it and hoped it would go away.
This place will never die. The talent will just become more concentrated.
