House to vote to remove Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene from committee roles

Majority Leader Steny Hoyer announced on Wednesday that House Democrats will move to oust GOP lawmaker of Georgia Marjorie Taylor Greene from her committee assignments over her embrace of the QAnon conspiracy theory and violent political rhetoric. The House Rules Committee is meeting on Wednesday to address Greene’s possible removal from two committees ahead of a vote on the full House floor on Thursday.
