JetBlue, Others Sued Over Tracking Patents

Law360 (February 25, 2011, 3:25 PM EST) – A Caribbean technology company and its Luxembourg-based licensee on Thursday hit JetBlue Airways Corp., Premiere Global Services Inc. and three others with a patent infringement suit in Florida federal court over tracking and notification system technology.

Defendants JetBlue, Premiere, Daniel F. Young Inc., Baron Messenger Service Inc. and Tiger Direct Inc. have directly and indirectly infringed some of the nine asserted patents through their commercial sale and use of various

tracking and notification technology used in the aerospace and product shipment industries
