I doubt I will want to be part of a political party in the future. Having a representative government does not necessitate having political parties in my opinion. However, I found what I read here about the states defending us against federal oppression to be intriguing and likely useful.

I also appreciate the acknowledgement that the "help" comes from free people, not government or politicians. Of course, we can do nothing without the help of God through Jesus.
