Not to detract from the message, but wouldn't that imply you would know what's 'best' for that individual long term?
Realistically speaking… ALL electronic communications are subject to eyes other than the intended recipient. That is the world we currently live in and either we as a society accept that and the risk… or we as a society reject it and change that paradigm. That change can ONLY start with the individual at home in how they themselves take privacy seriously and mitigate that risk. That is not a lesson to realize 'later'… that is a lesson to realize 'now' in my humble opinion.
