The 37th President, Richard Nixon, went to China in 1972 and opened up the relationship between the Chinese and the USA in spite of China being Communist.

Now the 45 President, Donald J. Trump, wants to bring that relationship up to a higher level, to be the culmination of the work that Nixon started.

Remember that when Deng Xiaoping changed China forever and came to the USA, he asked for former President Richard Nixon to be invited to the meetings.

These negotiations are NOT a trade deal! They are something bigger and deeper and more fundamental. Historic!

That is a German freight company that serves the places in the photo on the container. Namely the North Seas Islands that are large sandbars thrown up high enough by the waves in storms so that grass can grow and people settled there. These kind of offshore barrier island chains are common throughout the world, including the east coast of the USA.

Islands always have oddball special freight systems in use.
