Got my attention because I was stationed at Ft Polk in the 90s
Polk was one of the first bases that let the blue helmets in. UN troops. Also people may not know that there's a highway out of leesville going north that have russian military equipment. I put laser on target for Apaches at Ft Polk and as a solder they never said a word about it. But you could see the russian equipment driving down the highway.
Might be irrelevant for today but I never forgot about that.
