WASHINGTON (AP) — A man who stormed the U.S. Capitol while sporting face paint, no shirt and a furry hat with horns was moved to a jail in Virginia on Thursday after a federal judge ordered authorities to provide him with organic food while he's in custody.

Jacob Chansley was transferred to the Alexandria Detention Center after his attorney argued that his client had gone nine days without eating because organic food wasn't served at the jail in Washington. A judge ordered corrections officials to provide the special diet.

Chansley lost 20 pounds since being transferred from Arizona to Washington last week, his attorney, Albert Watkins, told the judge. Chansley, who calls himself the “QAnon Shaman,” considers eating organic food to be part of his “shamanic belief system and way of life,” the lawyer said.

SEATTLE — Seattle Police Department officers were called in this week to mediate between two warring factions that are now both claiming ownership of hundreds of paintings and drawings that served as a powerful political backdrop to the demonstrations that took root last summer in the Capitol Hill Occupied Protest zone.

Police on Wednesday halted board members of CHOP Art from moving more than 300 pieces of the works from a West Seattle storage locker. A former board member who was ousted from the group has taken the paintings and is refusing to tell her former colleagues where the materials are now.

KOMO News was there when the paintings and drawings were taken out of the storage locker, and now current board members say they are in a quandary over how to proceed.

“This is a position I’ve never been in before,” Mark Anthony, president of the CHOP Art board, said Thursday, adding that his group has asked the city to play referee. "We’re asking for the city specifically to step in to place this art on hold for safe keeping until we can handle this legally.”

Former President Trump, in a letter to the president of the Screen Actors Guild - American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA), said that he was resigning from the union.

"I write to you today regarding the so-called Disciplinary Committee hearing aimed at revoking my union membership. Who cares!" Trump wrote in his letter to union president Gabrielle Carteris. "Your organization has done little for its members, and nothing for me – besides collecting dues and promoting dangerous un-American policies and ideas…" Trump said in his note.

"While I'm not familiar with your work, I'm very proud of my work on movies such as Home Alone 2, Zoolander and Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps; and television shows including The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Saturday Night Live, and of course, one of the most successful shows in television history, The Apprentice – to name just a few!" Trump declared. "I've also greatly helped the cable news television business (said to be a dying platform with not much time left until I got involved in politics), and created thousands of jobs at networks such as MSDNC and Fake News CNN, among many others."

SAG-AFTRA's brief statement in response to Trump's resignation said only, "Thank you."
