Rampant though usually encoded. I reported a couple very obvious incidents to F_I back in 2017 when I twigged to what was going on. Naively believing that said 3-letter agency might take note. Never mind. Higher power than said agency will deal accordingly anyhow.
AS THE WORLD TURNS
Not surprisingly a phrase which has been used as the title for many a pastor's sermon, and so I'm going to presume a similar Biblical connotation here as well.
Phillips (creator of the soap opera) wrote: "As the world turns, we know the bleakness of winter, the promise of spring, the fullness of summer, and the harvest of autumn—the cycle of life is complete."
So soap operas, too, preach a sermon (ultimately theosophical in that case, though).
But in short. the spring equinox and the corresponding fall equinox are echoed in the covenant God made to Noah:
Genesis 8
As long as the earth endures,
seedtime and harvest,
cold and heat,
summer and winter,
day and night
will never cease.
For everything there is a season.
Ecclesiastes 3:1
