Ben Franklin was a satanist, and he certainly relished the irony of his answer. Perhaps he was saddened by the fact that he could not live long enough to see the irony unfold to its final bitter extent.
What use is the Constitution to a populace who will sit placidly by and watch it brazenly flouted by all three branches of government? Worse still, what use is a 2nd amendment?
The fact is, most of the "representatives" in the capitol that day deserved to be torn limb from limb.
But Americans must denounce "violence" while maintaining ignorance of the proper use of force.
