Yesterday's WSJ had an opinion piece called "'Majority Minority' America? Don't Bet on It" It appeared in "The Weekend Interview with Richard Alba" by John J. Miller (WSJ Saturday/Sunday, February 6-7, 2021 p. A11)

Basically it suggests the "left" miscalculated some things regarding the demographics of the US and their implications. Many of us are ethnically and "racially" (I put "racially" in quotes, because I think its a substandard concept) mixed. More so than thought, in part because the OMB took the dubious position of recording as "nonwhite" anyone who listed more than one race on their census forms. This, according to the editorial, is reminiscent of the Jim Crowe era and the "one drop" rule.

Why do I bring this up? I personally believe that many Americans (more so than the "left" realizes) are not at all "racist" or intolerant based on superficial characteristics. A lot of us come from "mixed" backgrounds ourselves.

Where does this leave us? Essentially, I think defining people as "black" or "white" based on skin pigment is approaching total uselessness EXCEPT as relates to political ideology. Initially, given the apparent racist legacy from southern slave times, it was easy to get people to define "black" and "white" along the lines of biological descent. Now (and I think the left knows this) the real division is between "black" as meaning totalitarian and communistic versus "white" as meaning conservative, patriotic and free.

The "Black Lives Matter" yard signs should not be thought to refer to "black" (pigment) people but to "black" (wicked) people, though those putting up the signs may not understand this.

Now Joe Biden's "you ain't black" remark makes a little more (evil) sense doesn't it? Joe is looking for knee-jerk, mind-numbed slaves to follow a "bread and circuses" agenda that keeps his corrupt ilk in power.

The apparent "war" on "white" America is referring to a war on our patriotic, conservative and Judeo-Christian roots, not to a "war" on people with lighter skin per se, though it has certainly seemed that way for a long while, because most early immigrants here seeking freedom and religious liberty were from Europe.

Remember our first "black" president, Bill Clinton?

This situation, and I can say it here, because there is exactly 0 the "left" can do about it, is to our 100% advantage as patriots and Christians who believe MLK and the idea that the content of a person's character is more important than the color of their skin. They simply cannot divide people along racial or ethnic lines whose ancestors are from (at least) 4 different countries as in my case or from several continents as is the case for many others. A person is either for liberty and freedom or, else, for totalitarianism and slavery. How many of us "sheep" (to the elites) really WANT to be slaves even with the "bread and circuses"?
