This world is on a short clock.
Christ redeemed souls for the rest of eternity.
One is longer than the other.

The hostile takeover happened when the Serpent succeeded in tempting Adam into partaking of that which gave him death.
This world is in decay,
and man dies here.
In the world to come,
those in Christ will never again die.
God had warned the Man if he ate that fruit,
he would die.
God knew he would eat that fruit,
Yet He had given him the dominion over the earth,
and the man ceded his dominion to the Serpent.
This was to show that without God,
Man cannot live,
and He showed this to point to another world where eternal Life would be for the heirs of righteousness.
God already prepared before He created this man for eternal life elsewhere,
providing a Way to that final eternal Home through His Son,
Jesus Christ.
As for the rest of religion,
Man has invented that to deify himself,
and to make this world the final "heaven".
This was all the lie he ate from that tree,
that men could be as gods……
And yet,
you suggested what that Anon rightly described,
the Way of Christ Jesus,
leads to suffering.
You are suggesting preaching Christ Jesus leads to suffering,
and in some ways it does,
though not in the ways to which you seem to be inferring.
Christ did indeed say He came to bring division.
and so it must be,
because the brood of vipers will fight to the death against Christ who is bringing the heirs of righteousness into the Light of Life.
This cannot be avoided.
It is indeed tribulation to both those who preach Him and upon those who deny Him.
I suspect however you are mistaking the source of evil suffering as being the true preaching of Christ,
while not understanding that the Enemy,
having sown tares among the wheat,
has appeared as preaching Christ,
but preaching a false christ.
This counterfeit system has been a big source of the suffering to which you aver,
because it is fighting against the purposes of Christ Jesus.
