The Hachette Book Group announced personnel moves at Center Street, HBG’s conservative political and military imprint, and Faithwords, its Christian publishing imprint.

 

Kate Hartson, previously executive editor, has been promoted to editorial directer of Center Street. Since joining Center Street in 2010 she has edited such bestselling authors as Mallory Factor (Shadow Boxes), Nelson DeMille (The Quest), Rand Paul (Government Bullies), and Newt Gingrich (Understanding Trump).

 

Katie Connors, previously associate online marketing director at HBG, has been promoted to director of online marketing for Hachette Nashville, where she will continue to develop the online presence for HBG’s Faithwords and Center Street imprints. Connors has worked closely with such authors as Joyce Meyer, Joel Osteen, and T.D. Jakes as well as conservative political authors Newt Gringrich and Michael Savage. She was instrumental in starting the FirstWords blogger program which features more than 300 members.
