Length is not the only factor for a 747. Runway PCN is also a consideration as well as fire fighting capability. FF requirements for a 757 are less than that for a 747.

PCN should not have changed in 7 years unless they have downgraded the runway. There could have also been a temporary downgrade in FF capability as well.
Nevertheless good dig on Al Buraq landing there in 2014.
Maybe the black hats fear that the 747 has been bugged by the white hats and they are not comfortable using it yet.
