1) Fox is told senators are circulating a prospective framework for President Trump’s second impeachment trial.

 

It would start with four hours of debate on Tuesday determining the Constitutionality of the trial.

2) That would then spark a vote on “Constitutionality” of proceedings, similar to the proposal a few weeks ago by Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY). That vote was 55-45 that the trial was Constitutional.

 

3) There could be a debate and vote on a call by managers to summon witnesses. That would be subject to a simple majority threshold.

 

4) Finally, the trial would go dark Friday night at 5 pm et and resume on Sunday. That’s because David Schoen, one of President Trump’s attorneys, observes the Jewish Sabbath.
