What were staff doing in Lin Wood's den unless he had invited them there for SB Sunday? Is "staff" coded for someone else? While I don't find it odd that a small employer would have his staff over for a party, given Lin's proclamations of patriotism, this seems an odd choice of events to gather for.
Unless it was a working meeting …
There is no such thing as "almost Satanic" … that's a light switch – either on or off. ("What does the light have to do with the darkness?")
The fans in the stadium were as legit as the voters for Biden.
>So I retired to my home office to share some thoughts with you as I sat at my desk next to the fireplace. I will never knowingly lie to you. The fire is fake.
While Lin is undeniably a well-educated and well-read man, the use of the word "retired," while correct, is quaint - unusual. It signals a shift of mental gears.
This phrase is intentionally symbolic. It is constructed to tell us that the fire is fake and that he may have lied to us due to being given bad information.
Trump, we know, was given a LOT of bad information … former staff have stated as much.
>And the fans in the stadium. Looked kinda fake to me in large part.
Anyone who can properly use the word "retired" in the sense that he did is entirely capable of proper grammar, but these are just two sentence fragments.
Guys … Lin is blinking at us.

Profanity is best used as the seasoning and not the meat of an argument.
