only one of these was written in Rust, is the project on which the comedy Silicon Valley is based, and is a decentralized project pre-dating bitcoin and all the cryptohype when solving actual problems was the focus.

In Greek mythology, Icarus (/ˈɪkərəs/; Ancient Greek: Ἴκαρος, romanized: Íkaros, pronounced [ǐːkaros]) is the son of the master craftsman Daedalus, the creator of the Labyrinth. Icarus and his father attempt to escape from Crete by means of wings that his father constructed from feathers and wax.

>The world is now at a point of almost total corruption in all of society's "systems" - political, financial, legal, judicial, pharmaceutical, environmental, corporations, healthcare, religion, science, education, food production, journalism, entertainment, 'humanitarian aid', 'child protective services', and anything else you can think of. Systems that supposedly exist to serve the betterment of people, communities, states, and countries, but are now just authorities of control and exploitation over the people.

It's about the manipulation of money. As with fish in water, we are the fish and money is the water. We don't recognize it. It is the transactional token of the value of our work…and ultimately denominated in the work that the sun puts into production in human activity. It's a big deal, but it's the ether in which we swim without recognizing it. It's being and has been manipulated.

All this other BS are just symptoms.

>>>12867858 (You) Dig on Rust, the project on which the comedy Silicon Valley is based,

Rust is just an open-source programming language. Let me be clearer about what I am getting at. Rust has a ton of error-correcting features which are unbeatable for security and many other use cases. That it is getting backing from these firms is big. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. That said, with the link to cloud projects, the Silicon Valley show is based on one of those projects, the Safe Network, being developed by Maidsafe. It's using Rust and because of what I know about these and much more than I can type here now, I am suggesting that the cloud services supporting Rust is a capitulation to the coming decentralized cloud. Thorsday this week might be interesting. I'm around. I'll post if there is news…

The Castle (German: Das Schloss, also spelled Das Schloß [das ˈʃlɔs]) is a 1926 novel by Franz Kafka. In it a protagonist known only as "K." arrives in a village and struggles to gain access to the mysterious authorities who govern it from a castle. Kafka died before he could finish the work, but suggested it would end with K. dying in the village, the castle notifying him on his death bed that his "legal claim to live in the village was not valid, yet, taking certain auxiliary circumstances into account, he was permitted to live and work there." Dark and at times surreal, The Castle is often understood to be about alienation, unresponsive bureaucracy, the frustration of trying to conduct business with non-transparent, seemingly arbitrary controlling systems, and the futile pursuit of an unobtainable goal.
