I think I just saw some preparation going on for a happening.
As I was driving I noticed a local sheriff's department vehicle parked near the entrance to a vacant building in my area. The driveway was blocked with cones and an officer was walking down the driveway with a guy in camo which made me think NG.
Turned around to check it out and found out all the driveways were blocked with cones. Went around to the building next door and parked in spot where I could see in the general direction of the other building. I saw four or five guys dressed in khaki pants and blue polo shirts. Then I heard a boom and about 15 guys in camo with big guns came out of nowhere and ran up the sidewalk toward the building. I probably didn't see originally them because they were dressed in camo and this area is a very wooded area. I sat around for about an hour and observed guys in light camo, darker camo and the polo/khaki guys.
It seems there are only one or two local sheriff's department guys keeping the area secure and it's mostly the camo guys. There are only white trucks and vans that I can see but there is a parking lot in the back that is hidden by trees and of course the driveways are blocked.
The boom I heard also reminded me that for the past several days around 9:00, I've heard what I thought be be fireworks.
The world is way more interesting when your eyes are open.
