Tesla strikes me as a theosophist and maybe even another manufactured personality. He has all the hallmarks of an adherent to the Secret Doctrine. He stated that "Mars" was talking to him. He believed each man could become a god through science. He believed total control would be achieved by man himself through discoveries of the "secrets of the universe". He said that Faust was an important story for him. And he revered Mark Twain (a theosophist too — just consider Twain's unpublished 'No 44 and the Mysterious Stranger').
